• Abstracts should summarize a noncommercial, technical presentation about solutions, approaches and areas of technology application. In addition to theory, case studies on application, evaluation, results, management processes and application, impact on value, and/or other management and technical benefits and costs.

• In submitting an abstract you are indicating your availability and willingness to attend and present at the 20th International Conference on Petroleum Data Integration, Information and Data Management.

• Abstracts or presentations that are deemed overly commercial will be rejected.

• Your abstract should be in English, completely original, and address issues as outlined in the conference.

• Ensure vibrant content that will send attendees home with something new in the fields of data management, information management, and integration.

• Illustrate your topic using real experiences, case studies and metrics where possible. We urge you to show real numbers and models such as cost vs benefit.

• Showcase collaboration between energy companies and/or energy companies and software, service and data standards providers.

• Highlight solutions that introduce new standards, roles, and processes.

• Demonstrate the establishment of new fundamentals through the process of integration.

• Show excellence, best practices, and data quality.

• Highlight lessons-learned from other industries that provide value in solving E&P challenges.

SELECTION, NOTIFICATION AND RESPONSIBILITIESSELECTION PROCESSThe PNEC Advisory Board will carefully review all abstracts submitted selecting those that will deliver a highly educational and informative conference. The conference discusses real-world issues, best practices, developments and cross discipline advances that address ever expanding and complex data demands in today’s oil and gas industry. The PNEC 20th International Conference on Petroleum Data Integration, Information and Data Management Advisory Board encompasses managers, executives, technical services personnel, and consultants in the data and information management sector of the E&P petroleum industry.

NOTIFICATION:All primary contacts will be notified by email no later than December 31, 2015 as to whether or not their proposed abstract has been selected.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• The primary contact will be responsible for meeting all deadlines and requirements.• Both a word document and associated slides in PowerPoint are required for a paper to be accepted and given at

the conference. • All presenters must use the mandatory conference slide template. • Thirty minutes will be allocated to make a presentation (includes question/answer discussion). • Full instructions on the preparation of presentations will be sent to the authors of selected abstracts.• PowerPoint presentations and a related word document to be included in the Conference Proceedings must be

provided by the end of March 2016.

CONDITIONS:Speakers are responsible for their own travel and related expenses, but receive a significantly reduced conference registration rate. Please ensure that the speaker details provided when submitting an abstract are correct, as these will be used for pre-event marketing purposes.
