Product Installation

In order o avoid dust deposition on the surface of sensitive component (laser diode and photosensitive diode), which may affect

the measurement accuracy of the sensor, the appropriate installation ways are recommended as below.

User attention

▪The laser particle sensor module is suitable for indoor air quality testing, so please avoid working under bad environment which contains a lot of dust; When the laser particle sensor module works, please make sure the inlet and outlet unobstructed. It is recommended to use a pre-filter in the front of inlet of the dust sensor to avoid big dust and bis substance.

▪The sampling method of both NDIR CO2 sensor and semiconductor VOC sensor is diffusion, eyelet of gas diffusion should be reserved to make sure the gas can quickly and smoothly pass through the sensor module.

I2C Communication Protocol This is an I2C protocol for AM4100. The sensor module is lower computer, it is not able to initiate communication automatically. Communication is initiated via main control board, it reads data and sends control commands. Communication clock frequency is <=30 Khz. START: start signal, send by main controlled board. STOP: stop signal, send by main controlled board. ACK: acknowledge signal, send by the sensor module if in bold; otherwise, send by main controlled board; NACK: non-acknowledge signal, send by the sensor module if in bold; otherwise, send by main controlled board; Dx: receive and send data; send by the sensor module if in bold; otherwise, send by main controlled board. 3.1 Send Command Data Receive by main controlled board: START+WRITE+ACK+P1+ACK+ P2+ACK…… +P7+ACK+STOP
