LISTENING
LO: 1.5 Obtain information from text listened

Activity: T distributes worksheet to students. T asks students to watch a video and fill in the blanks in the worksheet. T plays the “Fruit Salad” video.
READING
LO: 3.3 Read and understand phrases,
sentences, paragraphs, and whole texts. 3.3.1 Read and understand phrases by
matching simple phrases to pictures.
Activity: T distributes envelops which contain
sentence strips and pictures. T instructs SS to match the sentence strips
to the pictures.
SPEAKING
LO: 2.2 Ask questions politely to obtain information
and clarification 2.3 Give relevant information politely in
response to enquiries made.
Activity: Information gap SS work in pair (Pair A and Pair B) Both pairs will get the same text with different
missing information. SS are instructed to complete the text by
asking information from their pairs.
WRITING
LO: 4.5 Construct simple and compound sentences
with guidance and independently. 4.5.3 Construct simple sentences independently (3-5
words) by looking at pictures.
Activity: T distributes worksheet: pictures with few
words. T assigns SS to write an email to their
friends explaining how to make ‘Fruit Salad’.
