Imaging Kit Instruction ManualThank you for purchasing this Greiner Bio-One product. The Imaging Kit uses an iPod* for real-time imaging of 96-well and 384-well plates with rings or spheroids formed using NanoShuttle™-PL and magnetic drives. This kit is used with the Experiment Assistent iOS app and the BiO Assay Analysis Java app to capture images and analyse the kinetic data produced by the 3D structures.
Product UseThe Imaging Kit is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use.
In the case the product is to be disposed of, the relevant legal regulations are to be observed. The disposal of electrical devices is regulated within the European Community by national regulations based on ED directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). As disposal regulations within EU may vary from country to country, please contact your supplier if necessary.

2. INSTRUCTIONSInstructions for real-time imaging using the Imaging Kit
1. Find an empty space in the incubtor (Figure 1).
2. Place the fan in the back of the incubator. Make sure to use the correct orientation (Figure 1).
3. Place the Imaging System directly in front of the fan with the open end facing you (Figure 1).

4. Place the light pad on top of the Imaging System, centered (Figure 2).
5. Set up the iPod* and then place it into the holes on the lower section of the Imaging System with the screen facing upward (Figures 2,3).
! Most iPod*s have two cameras. Be sure to use the front-facing camera to capture your images.
6. Plug the iPod*, light pad, and fan into the power cord and plug the power cord into the wall. Turn on the light pad and fan.
7. Place the plate on top of the imaging mask with column 1 closest to you, under the light pad (Figure 2).

8. Start the iPod* and close the door of the incubator.
9. When the iPod* is finished imaging the plate, use a computer to analyse the kinetic data from the experiment.
