1) First Install Modelsim 6.42) Copy MentorKG to the win32 folder of the modelsim installation. Usually its going to be C:\modeltech_6.4\win323) Now open command prompt and go to the win32 folder of the modelsim installation.

There type the following commands.

attrib -r mgls.dllMentorKG.exe -patch . -o ..\license.datattrib +r mgls.dll

4) Exit Command prompt.5) Go to C:\modeltech_6.4\win32 folder.6) Double click diagnose.7) browse to modeltech_6.4 folder and click license. this is the license file. click ok...(yes).8) Modelsim is now ready to use!
