Welcome to the training station.Select the Microsoft Application that you would like to learn.

Word

There are two different ways to insert a picture into a word document.

Way One

Word – Way One

Go to Insert Go next to

Picture You will have

two choices • Clip Art• From File

Word - Way One

When you select Clip Art you will have the choices broken down into categories.

Click on a category and then choose from one of the many clip art pictures.

The second way is to go to the From File option.

Word - Way Two

This option allows you to locate a picture saved onto a disk or on the hard drive.

Excel

Excel is very similar to Word. Here are two ways to insert a picture.

Excel - Way One

Go to Insert Go to Picture Select either Clip

Art or From File

Excel - Way One

If you select from Clip Art the pictures will be organized by category.

If you go into the Communication category you can select from one of these pictures, shown to the right.

Excel - Way Two If you select

From File You will follow these steps.

• Go to Insert• Then Picture• And select

Excel - Way Two

Then click on the correct location of the picture and insert it by using the following example.

You can pick the location by using the Insert Picture Dialog Box.

PowerPoint

There are two different ways to insert a picture into a PowerPoint documents.

Once selected you will go to a different screen.

Each clip art image is filed under a different category.

Click on the category that you would like and then select the clip art image and insert it.

The second way is to insert a picture that is saved or has been downloaded to a different location.

Once there you will encounter a dialog box like this.

In this dialog box you will select the correct location for the retrieving the picture.

Once the picture is selected click on the Insert button in the dialog box.

Access

Just like the rest of the Microsoft Applications the Access program has two options.

Way One

Access - Step One

The only way to insert a picture into an access data base is to insert it in the form or the report.

You first transfer all of the information that you want to show up in the form.

Access - Step Two

To do this go to the Form button and select either the Wizard option or the Design View option.

Access - Step Three For now chose the

Wizard option. Select the table that

you want to create a form for and then click on the double arrows. (This will transfer all of the information onto the form.)

Access - Step Five

Hit the Next button and choose your layout form.

Then hit next once again and choose your style.

Access - Step Six

You are now ready to save it and hit finish.

The completed form is shown and you are now ready to place Pictures into this form.

Access - Step Eight

Now that you have the form completed you need to switch to the Design View.

This will enable you to edit the form.

Access - Step Nine

First extend the margins.

Then go to Insert

Access - Step Ten

Once you have selected Picture your screen should look like this:

The program should have taken you to an Insert Picture Dialog Box.

Access - Step Eleven

Once in the Dialog Box

Select the correct location for the picture and place it into the form.

It will look something like this, at first.

Access - Step Twelve

The next to last step is to move the picture into place and reformat the size if necessary.

To reformat the size Right click on picture and

change the width and height by typing in the correct size.

Access - Step Thirteen

The final step is to save and close the form down.

The next time it is opened the picture along with the information will show.
