Instructional Design/Technology Experience Designed several online modules available on the CREW Center website, including a module utilized as the

primary career assessment tool for all First-Year Experience courses and a module viewed by all graduating students when submitting a graduation application.

Oversaw development and production of a series of SCORM compliant training modules for all new student workers and student worker supervisors at JCTC.

Created two modules on transfer advising tips and resources for JCTC advisors. Developed two Blackboard eCommunity pages to house the student worker and transfer advisor training programs. Assisted MC IT Lead in developing the CREW Center’s website and in developing content for a new career center

student sign-in and database. Utilized Adobe Acrobat to create interactive quarterly interactive newsletters for faculty and staff and interactive

resume samples for students that are viewable on the CREW website. Developed several assessments to determine learning outcomes at the completion of various trainings utilizing

SurveyMonkey. Assisted in developing content for an online trivia challenge platform, Quimle, for MC participants to play to

assess their knowledge of program policies and procedures. Utilized Photoshop to create various flyers and posters advertising career center events.

Student Affairs Experience Oversaw staff training and scheduling for the CREW Center, including assisting staff in developing projects that

promote career services on campus, facilitating on-going training on best practices in the field, and leading efforts to develop new, innovative service offerings.

Supervised two administrative assistants on two campuses; coached employees, ensured completion of work responsibilities, and monitored performance; previous experience in also supervising graduate students.

Served as a representative for bi-weekly meetings with the Metropolitan College corporate partner, UPS. Developed and revised all CREW Center and workshop surveys to ascertain service outcomes. Facilitated and customized numerous career service workshops for several academic programs per faculty request. Provided career counseling and guidance on career assessments, resume and job correspondence writing, and

interviewing techniques to Metropolitan College (MC) participants and JCTC students. Processed MC student agreements every semester, troubleshot various student billing and program policy

questions, and served as a liaison between students and various campus offices. Developed procedures and conducted several trainings on the implementation of the Workforce Investment Act, a

federally funded program offering tuition assistance for individuals meeting several eligibility requirements. Coordinated and oversaw mock interviews events each semester with local employers serving as volutneers.

Teaching Experience Developed lesson plans that incorporated discussion, teamwork activities, and multimedia; created a variety of

writing assignments to strengthen students’ academic writing and research skills. Prepared themed composition courses on topics including Popular Culture, Social Justice, and Happiness Studies. Efficiently evaluated and encouraged student progress on writing assignments throughout the semester. Demonstrated excellent technology skills through facilitating online composition classes.
