Sub.: University Examination (Term End Examination, June, 2021) for X'inal. Year/Xnd Semester Students to be held in August' 2021

1. In view of the nation-wide Covid-l9 pandemic situation, the Indira Gandhi National

Open University is conducting Term-End-Examination (TEE), June 2021 from

3'd August, 2021 for the final yearlfrnal semester students of I{aster's Degree, Bachelor's

Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programmes subject to- fulfilling the University norms on admission year and registration validity period.

2. Accordingly, only those students of Master's, Bachelor's, PG Diploma/Diploma and

Certificate Programmes who have registered for the final yearlsemester of their

Programme, were eligible to appear in TEE, Jwe, 2021 and have submiued the

Examination Form (for TEE, June, 2021) are eligible to appear in the TEE to be

conducted in August, 202I.Detalls of eligibility of such students are given in the table

below:

All Programmes of Post Graduate Diploma/Diploma/Post Graduate Certificate and Certificate

Programmes.

There will be no Term-End-Examination, June,202l for the students of CBCS Based

UG Programmes (BAG, BSCG, BCOMG, BSWG, BAECH, BAHIH, BAPSH' BAPCH,

BAPAH. BASOM, BSCANH, BSCBCH, BAEGH, BAHDH). All the Term-End-

Examinations for these programmes will be held in December, 2021.

The information for practical examinations (wherever applicable) shall be communicated

separately by the concerned Regional Centres.

The Term-End-Examination for the students of the intermediate yearlsemester of the

Master's and Bachelor's Programmes, scheduled in June, 2021has been postponed and

will be held in December, 2021 (Separate Notification will be issued later on).

The students who will not be able to appear in the TEE to be held in August, 202I willbe given an opportunity to appear in the TEE to be held in December,202l. For this

purpose, the validity period of registration of those students whose registration ended in

June,202l will be extended till December,202l, :

The fee already paid by the students for the Term-End-Examination, Jtne,202I for the

courses for which no examination is conducted in AugusVSeptember, 2021 will be

adjusted against the fees payable for the subsequent Term-End-Examinations.

If the Covid-19 condition in any Region/State deteriorates further during the course

of examinations in August, 2}2llSeptemberr 2027, the exam of concerned students willbe postponed and held in December,202I.

INSTRUCTION UNDER EXEMPTION CATEGORY The students of Postgraduate and Undergraduate Programmes, as per details furnished below, have been exempted in appearance of Term-end Examination in accordance with the Student Evaluation Division's circular No. IG/SED/Ex-III/Prom./1220/2436 dated 16th December, 2020:-

1st year in July 2019 session and enrolment starts with 19

1st year term-end examination of all the courses.

MBA/MBA (Banking and Finance) Any of the Intermediate semesters of MBA/MBA (Banking & Finance) in January, 2020 session; and admission is valid minimum till June 2021 session.

All the courses of January, 2020 semester.

MSC-MACS 1st or 3rd Semester in January, 2020 session

All the courses of January, 2020 semester i.e. 1st semester or 3rd semester.

1st /2nd/3rd/4th/5th Semester of BCA 1st /2nd/3rd/4th/5th Semester of MCA

1st /2nd/3rd/4th/5th Semester of BCA in January, 2020 session; 1st /2nd/3rd/4th/5th Semester of MCA in January, 2020 session and admission is valid minimum till June 2021 session.

1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th Semester of BCA/MCA in which student had registered in January, 2020 session.

CBCS Undergraduate Programmes: BAG,BCOM(G) & BSC(G)

July 2019 year (1st and 2ND Semester) and enrolment starting with 19

1st and 2nd semester examination of all the courses of BAG,BCOM,BSCG

BSW,BTS,BAVTM and BBA (Retailing)

July 2019 1st year and enrolment starting with 19

1st year examination of all the courses of BSW,BTS,BAVTM and BBA (Retailing)

BA,BCOM,BSC,BSW,BTS,BBA (Retailing) 2nd year

2nd year in July 2019 session and enrolment number starts with 18 or before and admission is valid minimum till June 2021 session.

2nd year term-end examination of all the courses of BA, BCOM, BSC, BSW, BTS, BBA (Retailing)

In case, the students of above mentioned Programmes had submitted the examination form for appearance in these courses in June-2020 Term-end Examination, the examination fee paid by them will be adjusted in second year term-end examination/third year term-end examination/next semester term-end examination in June-2021 or onwards. While filling up the examination form for June-2021 or onward term-end examination, the fee paid by the students in June-2020 Term-end Examination will be adjusted accordingly.
