Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the device as it is unsafe to start device without

reading the manual. Instructions on the following pages will show you proper handling of the device in

general manner. You should be particularly familiar with the required treatment and precaution before

proceeding.

CAUTION The device must be used only under the supervision of licensed practitioner or :

technically trained person.

Ÿ Do Not operate this unit in an environment where other devices are being used that intentionally

radiates electromagnetic energy in an unshielded manner.

Ÿ Do Not use sharp objects such as a pencil point or ballpoint pen to operate the button on the touch

screen.

Ÿ This unit should be operated in temperatures between 170 and 380C, transported and stored in

temperatures between -300 and +600C, with Relative Humidity ranges from 30% to 60%.

Ÿ Inspect all cables before each use.

Ÿ The Hi lipo Contour system is not designated to prevent the ingress of water or liquid. Ingress of water

and liquid could cause malfunction of internal components of the system and therefore create a risk of

injury to the user.

Ÿ Inspect cable and associated connector before each use.

1.1 Warnings

Ÿ The long term effects of electrical stimulations are unknown.

Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied over the carotid sinus nerves, particular in the patient with known

sensitivity to the carotid sinus reex.

Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied transthoracically in that the introduction of electric current into the

heart may cause cardiac arrhythmias.

Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied transcerebrally.

Ÿ Electrode should not be applied over the neck or mouth, or anywhere else on the head. If stimulation is

applied over the neck or mouth, especially sever spasm of the laryngeal and pharyngeal muscle may

occur and the contraction may be strong enough to close the airway or cause difculty in breathing.

Ÿ Stimulation should be applied only to normal intact skin, and stimulation should not be applied over

open wounds, over swollen, infected, or inamed areas or skin eruptions e.g. phlebitis,

thrombophlebitis varicose vein etc.,

Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied over, or in proximity to, cancerous lesions.

Ÿ TENS should be used only under the continued supervision of a physician or licensed practitioner.

Ÿ TENS waveform have no curative value.

Ÿ If you have any medical concerns, such as severe medical illness, epilepsy or seizures, or recent

surgery, please consult your doctor before undergoing the therapy.

Ÿ Potential adverse reaction may include electrode burns, skin irritation, or redness.

Ÿ Make certain the unit is electrically grounded by connecting only to a grounded electrical service

receptacle conforming to the applicable national and local electrical codes.

Ÿ To prevent electrical shock, disconnect the unit from the power source before attempting any

maintenance procedures.

1.2 Danger

Ÿ Improper handling or use of device may result in serious injury.

Ÿ Stimulus delivered by the TENS waveforms of the device, in certain congurations will deliver a charge

of 25 micro coulombs (µC) or greater per pulse and may be sufcient to cause electrocution. Electric

current of this magnitude must not ow through the thorax because it may cause cardiac arrhythmia.

Ÿ Patient with an implanted Neurostimulation device must not be treated with or be in close proximity to

any shortwave diathermy, microwave, diathermy, therapeutic ultrasound diathermy or laser diathermy

anywhere on their body. Energy from diathermy (shortwave, microwave, ultrasound and laser) can be

transferred through the implanted Neurostimulation system, can cause tissue damage and can result

in severe injury or death. Injury, damage, or death can occur during diathermy therapy even if the

implanted Neurostimulation system is turned “off”.

Ÿ Handling, cleaning, and disposal of components and accessories that have come in contact with

bodily uids according to National, Local and Facility rules, regulations and procedures.

Ÿ Keep electrodes separated during treatment. Electrode in contact with the each other could result in

improper stimulation or skin burns.

Ÿ Output current density is related to electrode size, inadequate electrode contact area may result in

patient injury. Please consult the enclosed manufacturer's table for recommended electrode area to

be used with the device. If any additional question arises regarding the electrode size, consult a

licensed practitioner or the manufacturer prior to the therapy session.

Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied over the spinal cord area following laminectomy.

Ÿ The device should not be applied on the anterior aspect of the chest (i.e. thorax)

Ÿ To be used under doctor prescription and control (no suggestions but obligation).

Ÿ Operation in close proximity (e.g. 1m) to a shortwave or microwave therapy EQIPMENT may produce

instability in the stimulator output.

Ÿ Current densities for any electrodes exceeding 2mA r.m.s./cm2 may require the special attention of the

USER.

Ÿ Care must be taken when operating this equipment around other equipment. Potential

electromagnetic or other interference could occur to this or to the other equipment. Try to minimize this

interference by not using other equipment in conjunction with it.

1.3 Indication for Use

Hi lipo contour is indicated to be used as

Interferential (IFC) and TENS for:

Ÿ Symptomatic relief of Chronic, intractable pain.

Ÿ Management of pain associated with post-traumatic or post operative conditions.

Russian For:

Ÿ Relaxation of muscle spasms

Ÿ Prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy

Ÿ Increase local blood circulation

Ÿ Muscle re-education

Ÿ Maintaining or increasing range of motion

Ÿ Immediate post-surgical stimulation of cell muscle to prevent venous thrombosis

1.4 Contraindications

Use of device is contradicted for:

Ÿ People with any surgical implant.

Ÿ People with Heart diseases, heart murmur, irregular heart rate, With a pacemaker or heart rate

balancer

Ÿ During Pregnancy

Ÿ People with Epilepsy, Undergoing treatments for cancer

Ÿ People below 18 year

Ÿ People suffering from cholesterol.

Ÿ People with thrombosis and / or thrombophlebitis. .

Ÿ People treated with anticoagulants. .

Ÿ Peoples with malignancies. .

Ÿ People with Liver or Kidney disorder

Ÿ People not sensitive to temperature

Ÿ People with Immuno-Suppressive Disorders

Ÿ People who suffer decompensated arteriopathy.

Ÿ Critical ischemia of lower limbs

Ÿ Abdominal or inguinal hernia

Ÿ Any other serious illness/disease not yet listed above.

1.5 Precautions

Ÿ Caution should be used for patient with suspected or diagnosed heart problems.

Ÿ Caution should be used for patient with suspected or diagnose epilepsy.

Ÿ Caution should be exercised in presence of following:

Ÿ When there is tendency of hemorrhage following acute trauma and fracture.

Ÿ Following recent surgical procedures when muscles contraction may disrupt the healing process.

Ÿ Over the menstruation or uterus.

Ÿ Over area of Skin which lack normal sensation.

Ÿ Electrode placement and stimulation setting should be based on guidance of the prescribing

practitioner and physician.

Ÿ The effectiveness of TENS waveforms is highly dependent upon patient selection by a qualied

person.

Ÿ Device should be kept out of the reach of children.

Ÿ Device should only use with the electrodes cable and electrodes recommended for use by

manufacturer.

Ÿ Headache and other painful sensation have been reported during or following electrical stimulation.

Lowering the intensity may reduce or eliminate these sensations.

1.6 Adverse reaction

Ÿ Skin irritation and burn beneath the electrodes have been reported with the use of stimulation.

Ÿ Some patients may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity due to the electrical stimulation or

electrical conductive medium. This irritation can usually be reduced by using an alternative conductive

medium or an alternative electrode placement.

2.1 Overview

Electronic Muscle Stimulation is an advanced technique used world-wide for toning, reshaping, rming

thighs, buttocks, and for maintaining muscle denition. Overtime, muscles lose their conditioning from

lack of exercise. Muscles can now be re-educated to maintain a toned appearance through EMS.

Electronic Muscle Stimulation Therapy targets and sends signals to weak muscles telling the muscles to

contract. This therapy can be described as a gentle tingling that develops into a massage-like sensation

as the frequency is increased. The therapy normally lasts anywhere from 10-35 minutes, often with the

use of hot or cold compresses depending on the area.

Treatment procedures:

1. Preparation of the patient:

Ÿ The skin in the area of electrode placement should be cleaned thoroughly.

Ÿ Special gels, sprays or water is applied to the skin as a condition medium for better stimulation.

Ÿ Electrodes should be xed in position, using mending tapes to maintain good contact throughout

the treatment period.

7. TROUBLESHOOTING

Observation Possible Cause Remedy

None of the displays are lighting up after switching on the rocker switch

Internal Error Turn off the rocker switch and inform the supplier

Uncomfortable stimulation Lack of conductive gel Pause the stimulation, Put more conductive gel and reposition the probe electrodes on the treatment area. Then restart treatment.

Skin irritation at applicator contact site

Make sure the plastic liner is removed from your electrode and place it directly against your clean, dry skin.

Turn the device off, Put more conductive gel and reposition the electrodes on the treatment area. Then restart treatment.

The Lead-Wire module is not inserted correctly

Make sure the wires are securely attached

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

Ÿ The soiled unit should be cleaned with a damp cloth.

Ÿ Make sure hands are clean and dry during the operation.

Ÿ Clean the probe and applicator with a damp cloth as well.

Warning

Ÿ Do not pull out hand held applicators.

Ÿ Eelectrode wires should be kept loosely winded or breakage may occur.

Storage

Ÿ Keep the unit properly covered, when not in use. This will help to keep out of dust.

Ÿ Make special space to keep the unit, after the treatment is over.

Ÿ Do not store the unit in a damp environment. Dampness may affect device and cause rust.

Electrode Care

Ÿ 1. Carbon electrode should be regularly cleaned with mild soap and water to remove skin oils, gel and

dirt.

Ÿ 2. Do not immerse electrode in any liquid.

Ÿ 3. Thoroughly dry the electrode before using.

Ÿ 4. Store the electrode in a resalable pouch or plastic bag.

Ÿ 5. If electrodes gets soiled or have too much gel deposited on them, it is advised that you replace the

electrode after long periods of usage.

WARRANTY

This product warranty extends to the original consumer /purchaser of the product.

WARRANTY DURATION

This product is warranted to the original consumer for a period of (1) year from the original purchase date.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

This product is warranted against defective materials or workmanship. This warranty ceases if the

product has been damaged by accident, in shipment, unreasonable use, misuse, neglect, improper

service, commercial use, repair by unauthorized personnel or cause not arising out of defect in materials

or workmanship. This warranty does not extend to any units which are used in violation furnished by

manufacturer, or to units which have been altered or modied, or to damage to products or parts there of

which have had the serial number removed, altered or defaced or rendered illegible. The warranty doesn't

cover normal wear & tear or replacement of adaptor, elastic, elec. cord, electrodes & other accessories.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS

This warranty is in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied and no representative or person is

authorized to assume for manufacturer/ any other liable in connection with the sale of our products. There

shall be no claims for defects or failure of performance or product failure/ any theory of tort, contract or

commercial law including, but not limited in negligence, gross negligence, strict liability, breach of

warranty and breach of contract. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties

or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Manufacturer is not responsible or liable for indirect special or consequential damages arising out of or in

connection with the use performance of the product or other damage with respect to loss of property or

loss revenues or prot.

WARRANTY PERFORMANCE

During the above one-year warranty period, a product with a defect will be repaired or replaced with a

reconditioned comparable unit at distributor's option when the product is returned to the distributor. The

repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the balance of the one-year warranty period and an

additional one-month period. No charge will be made for such repair or replacement.

CONSUMER SERVICE

For in warranty service for a product covered under the warranty period, no charge is made for service and

return postage. Please return the product insured, packed with sufcient protection, postage insurance,

prepaid to the address. Customer's duty/brokerage fee, if any, must be paid by the consumer.

OUT OF WARRANTY SERVICE

There will be charges rendered for repairs made to the product after the expiration of the aforesaid one (1)

year warranty period, after purchaser is advised appropriately. The distributor cannot assume

responsibility for loss or damage during shipment. For your protection, carefully pack the product for

shipment and insure it with the carrier. Ensure that you return the unit and accessories related to your

problem and also that you indicate full return address. Also send a copy of sales receipt or other proof of

purchase to determine warranty status. C.O.D. shipments cannot be accepted.
