PHOTOSENSITIVITY/EPILEPSY/SEIZURES

A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures or blackouts when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. Exposure to certain patterns or backgrounds on a television screen or when playing video games may trigger epileptic seizures or blackouts in these individuals. These conditions may trigger previously undetected epileptic symptoms or seizures in persons who have no history of prior seizures or epilepsy. If you, or anyone in your family, has an epileptic condition or has had seizures of any kind, consult your doctor before playing.

IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE use and consult your doctor before resuming gameplay if you or your child experience any of the following health problems or symptoms:• dizziness,• altered vision,• eye or muscle twitches,• loss of awareness,• disorientation,• seizures, or• any involuntary movement or convulsion.

RESUME GAMEPLAY ONLY ON APPROVAL OF YOUR DOCTOR.

Use and handling of video games to reduce the likelihood of a seizure• Use in a well-lit area and keep as far away as possible from the television screen.• Avoid large screen televisions. Use the smallest television screen available.• Avoid prolonged use of the PS4™ system. Take a 15-minute break during each hour of play.• Avoid playing when you are tired or need sleep.

3D imagesSome people may experience discomfort (such as eye strain, eye fatigue, or nausea) while watching 3D video images or playing stereoscopic 3D games on 3D televisions. If you experience such discomfort you should immediately discontinue use of your television until the discomfort subsides. SCE recommends that all viewers take regular breaks while watching 3D video, or playing stereoscopic 3D games. The length and frequency of necessary breaks may vary from person to person. Please take breaks that are long enough to allow any feelings of discomfort to subside. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. The vision of young children (especially those under six years old) is still under development. SCE recommends that you consult with a doctor (such as a pediatrician or eye doctor) before allowing a young child to watch 3D video images or play stereoscopic 3D games. Adults should supervise young children to ensure they follow the recommendations listed above. When using any 3D enabled device with your PlayStation®4 system you should read the instruction manual for that device and check us.playstation.com/support/3D for updated information.

Notes on safety when using the DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller • Stop using the system immediately if you begin to feel tired or if you experience discomfort

or pain in your hands or arms while operating the DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller. If the condition persists, consult a doctor.

• The vibration function of the DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller can aggravate injuries. Do not use the vibration function if you have any ailment or injury to the bones, joints or muscles of your hands or arms. If you have an ailment or an injury, do not play software titles that contain the vibration function using the DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller unless you have set the vibration function to [Off].

• Avoid prolonged use of the DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller. Take a break at about 30-minute intervals.

• Note that some software titles set the vibration function to [On] by default. To disable the vibration function, press the PS button of the controller, and then select [Controller Settings]>[Vibration Function]>[Off].

• If you experience any of the following health problems, discontinue use of the system immediately. If symptoms persist, consult with your doctor. - Dizziness, nausea, fatigue or symptoms similar to motion sickness - Discomfort or pain in a part of the body, such as eyes, ears, hands or arms

Motion Controller Safety NoticeWhen using the motion controller, avoid holding the controller closer than 8 inches from the face or eyes. When using the motion controller, be aware of the following points.• If the motion controller hits a person or an object, it may cause accidental injury or damage.• Always wear the strap.• Hold controller firmly to prevent slipping.• Tighten strap with strap lock.• Allow enough space for safe use.• Hold other controller firmly.

NEW IN 2016

MLB® The Show™ 16 delivers the most thrilling baseball video game experience to date. Feel the excitement of walking into a stadium of cheering fans, hitting a homerun, making a last-minute save, and other unforgettable moments out on the diamond.

Your favorite MLB® The Show™ game modes are back, along with new features that make the game more engaging than ever. Step into the shoes of your favorite player, or manage your dream team from behind the big desk. With 120 new pitching animations, 140 new batting stances, new swings, and new player-specific home plate animations, this MLB® experience is more true-to-life than ever before!

SHOWTIMEIn baseball, amazing plays can happen in the blink of an eye. That’s why the new feature ShowTime lets you slow down key moments for the finest control of every action. Whether you’re bringing in a clutch hitter for a game-winning run or diving for a base at the last second, ShowTime gives you power over the moment.

MISSIONSAs you play any game mode, you’ll now see Missions you can complete to earn rewards. Missions are challenges that could involve collecting sets of cards, earning a certain amount of currency, or achieving stats with a specific baseball player. Check your progress with current Missions by going to MY LOCKER > MISSIONS under the Home tab.

CHOOSE A CAPTAINOne of the biggest new features is choosing a Captain. Select from six superstar players, and then earn XP and Tickets towards that Captain as you play any game mode. Each Captain has a Theme—perhaps based on where they’re from or their style of play—and you’ll receive incentives if you play with a roster that fits their Theme. Each Captain also has a unique store, and the XP you earn with any Captain determines what you can purchase. Earn XP toward your chosen Captain by playing any game mode in MLB® The Show™ 16 ! Go to MY LOCKER > CAPTAINS under the Home tab to choose your Captain and track your progress.

ROAD TO THE SHOW

Play through an MLB® career in Road to the Show™ (RTTS). This single-player mode puts you in the shoes of an MLB player, working your way up from the Minor Leagues in one of MLB® The Show™ 16’'s most atmospheric and authentic experiences.

Enjoy the buzz of entering the stadium for your very first game. Listen to the crowd roar and your fellow players shout from your unique position on the field. Celebrate your successes in Postseason™ games, and aim to make it all the way to the World Series®!

HOW TO PLAY

NEW IN ROAD TO THE SHOW ™

Select a real-world MLB® player or create a new player from scratch—this is your own baseball star in the making. You can customize everything, from his primary position on the field, to the details of his appearance.

GAME PERKSTake your game to the next level with all-new Game Perks. You’ll earn these consumable and passive perks as you train and play through Road to the Show mode. See your unlocked perks and equip them from the Training tile under the Home tab.

Equipping passive perks allows them to come into play whenever the situation requires them. Meanwhile, apply consumable perks to your game at the perfect moment, such as that last at-bat when you need a stellar run to turn the game around!

Play two showcase games and appear in Bowman Scout Day to impress the scouts and try to get a desirable draft position. If you perform well, you may end up being a first round draft pick—perform poorly, and you’ll fall down the draft order. Once you have a place on a team, it’s time to start your career as an MLB® player!

As you progress, equip items and spend training points to make sure your player is at their best on the diamond. Equipment can boost your player’s attributes so they perform better; training will improve attributes, so your player is getting stronger and developing their skills throughout their career.

DIAMOND DYNASTYBuild your own custom team with fantasy baseball cards in Diamond Dynasty! Play against other players or the computer in your quest to create the greatest team of all time.

HOW TO PLAY

NEW TO DIAMOND DYNASTY

To get started in Diamond Dynasty, name your team and choose their location. If you feel like getting creative, use customization tools to create your own logo or customize your team’s jerseys.

Next, go to the Play tab to prove your mettle on the field. Battle online in head-to-head games, jump into Battle Royale’s 25-round draft, take your team on the road to win over fans in Conquest, or play with Friends online. Every game you play in Diamond Dynasty mode awards you with a new player, stadium, or piece of equipment! You can also check the Daily Matchup Ratings (powered by Inside Edge) to see each player’s updated stats based on the latest real-world matchups.

Head to the Squad tab to set up your team’s rotation; purchase new card packs and manage what you already have; or customize your team’s name, details, uniforms, and more! Visit the Community Marketplace if you want to buy or sell any items you have collected in MLB® The Show™ 16.

View the Records tab to see your history in Diamond Dynasty, including your standings, stats, and achievements.

CONQUESTDo you have what it takes to become the most popular team in the country? Take your Diamond Dynasty team on a road trip across the country, gaining fans along the way on your quest to be the best! Your fan base is your greatest asset: move them to hold territories, or whisk them along with you to take over new places. You’ll earn unique rewards along the way.

BATTLE ROYALEIn this new competitive Battle Royale format, complete a 25-round draft, and then go head-to-head with other teams online. Collect wins for better rewards. Lose too many games, and your team will be eliminated from this exciting multi-game battle. Win, and you may become one of the best teams in the game with the most enviable rewards!

FLASHBACKSCustomize your team by earning new Flashbacks—special versions of players earned throughout several game modes. For instance, you might find a rookie or flashback version of a current star.

DAILY MATCHUP RATINGIn baseball, player stats change daily based on the latest games. Keep your Diamond Dynasty roster up to date with cards that adjust player attributes based on real-life matchups—every day! Select the DAILY MATCHUP RATING tile to see each player’s new Matchup Rating, OVR, and Trend; press the D button to view their full stats. A five-star Matchup Rating means the player’s attributes are increased for the day, based on exceptional real-world performance; a one-star rating means the player isn’t at their best and might be better on the bench today.

MASTERING FRANCHISE MODETo get started in Franchise, select which team (or teams) you would like to manage. Next, choose your settings for things like GM Contracts, Fantasy Draft, and the Designated Hitter rule. Now you’re ready to begin your GM career!

In the Home tab, play or simulate games to see how many wins you can rack up. Keep track of your GM Goals, Sponsorships, and player Training to make sure your team performs at their best. If you need to make changes to your roster, visit the Team tab. Here you can manage contracts for your players and scouts, update your roster or pitching rotation, or make trades.

Keep track of how you’re doing under the League tab. This is where you can manage things like acquisitions, transactions, and the disabled list, as well as see your standings, stats, and awards.

MANAGING THE BUDGETBringing in revenue is critical for the success of any MLB® franchise. As much as you love the game, you need to rake in the dough. Your budget is more accessible than ever with a brand new budget screen, so you know exactly what you’re working with—both now and projected for the future. You’ll also deal with real-world budget matters such as Revenue Sharing and Luxury Tax, which can make a big difference in how you manage things like payroll and your overall spending.

PLAYER MORALEThe Player Morale system is important to your team’s performance in games. Make sure each player is happy with their position on the field and role on the team, as well as the city they play for and the coaching staff. Sign players based on more than just their skills—make sure the team gets along for the best on-field experience!

SIGNING AND TRADESSigning the right players to the roster can make or break your team. A new notification system keeps you up to date on all major trades happening in the MLB®, and you can manage the frequency of CPU trades with a slider or turn them off for full control. If you have an eye on a free agent, keep in mind they make more realistic choices than ever before, based on factors such as the coaching staff, their team position, and your team’s location. When preparing a contract for a player you want to sign, take all of these into consideration!

Manage one or more of your favorite baseball teams and see if you can lead them to victory throughout the season! Your responsibilities include: scouting and drafting capable players, training players in key areas based on their unique attributes, hiring and firing staff, and managing the budget. If you already played this mode in MLB® 15 The Show™, you can import your save file here to continue your progress where you left off.

NOTE: Your team’s win-loss record determines your budget, so win games if you want a successful team that rakes in big money!

Your Franchise experience will be unique to the choices you make, the players you draft, and how you train for games. As you progress through the mode, you’ll see changes to your players and budget that you’ll need to take into account. Adjust your strategy and keep improving!

k. The AAA rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879. Further, if your claims do not exceed $75,000 and you provided notice to and negotiated in good faith with the Adverse Sony Entity as described above, if the arbitrator finds that you are the prevailing party in the arbitration, you will be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs as determined by the arbitrator, in addition to any rights to recover the same under controlling state or federal law afforded to the Adverse Sony Entity or you.

l. The arbitrator will make any award in writing but need not provide a statement of reasons unless requested by a party. The arbitrator’s award will be binding and final, except for any right of appeal provided by the FAA, and may be entered in any court having jurisdiction over the parties for purposes of enforcement.

m. You or the Adverse Sony Entity may initiate arbitration in either San Mateo County, California or the county in which you reside. If you select the county of your residence, the Adverse Sony Entity may transfer the arbitration to San Mateo, County if it agrees to pay any additional fees or costs you incur as a result of the change in location as determined by the arbitrator.

n. If any clause within this Section 6 (other than the Class Action Waiver clause above) is illegal or unenforceable, that clause will be severed from this Section 6, and the remainder of this Section 6 will be given full effect. If the Class Action
