Insert headphone jack into the headphone input which is located on the left side of device.Place headphones on.
Before turning on make sure the Recording Level Dial is on zero, which is located on right side of device.Also make sure the Volume Dial is on zero as well.
Push Record button (red button on front of device)Turn Recording Level up to 3, until you receive soundAdjust Volume until you receive sound
Before recording, push the Menu buttonSelect the folder that is highlighted by pushing the Enter ButtonPoint the top of the device, where the microphones are located, towards subject(s) that will be recorded
Adjust Volume until you receive the quality ofsound/recording you wantPush Play Button (also Record Button) to start RecordingWhen you are done, push Stop button (next to play button)To hear recording select Menu ButtonSelect folder you saved file toPush Enter and Hit Play
Plug in a USB cable into port on the left hand side of device (right under Volume Dial)Connect USB cable into computerSelect the PCM Recorder icon on your Desktop (MAC)/ go to Start Menu if it doesn't automatically start up (PC)Drag Audio File onto DesktopRename file into a recognizable name
