Petronect was created on October 18th of 2002 to provide

electronic commerce services related to the procurement of

goods and services.

Through the electronic portal, transactions are carried out

ranging from requests for quotations and proposals

submissions to contracts and orders management.

operation is distinct from the main environment.

The Supplier Registration is the first step for a company to negotiate with

Petrobras. By registering, the supplier companies can prove their aptitude to

participate in bids.

Environmental Responsibility

By using Petronect, the Petrobras Group reduces the impact of CO2

Environmental Responsability

The Petrobras, by using Petronect, reduces the impact of CO2 in the atmosphere:

Paper Rationing: The Petrobras Group uses the Portal since 2003

as a tool to transact the following purchasing activities: electronic

quotation, electronic auction and electronic (order/request).

Based on the data of the analyzed period, the Petrobras Group

transacted in the Portal 2,354,903 electronic processes and

5,000,617 requests. The company spared, on average, the

utilization of 1,427 tons of paper.

Traveling Rationing: Based on the data from the period, 814 online trainings were conducted and no trips related to the purchasing processes transacted in the Portal were required. Thus,

the company spared the emission of 1,427 tons of CO2.
