Institute E-Seniors is specialized in: • observation and prospective studies, research and development • ICT access for seniors and disabled people

We contribute in:• initiatives in accordance with users needs and tested in the field• project dissemination and promotion of best practices• building and developing European networks

State of ArtWith the ageing European population, the questions related to seniors are of interest – notably, the active ageing and sustaining the independence are essentials are key challenges.New ICT are an opportunity for seniors to:

• Stay « connected »• Sustain their independence and an

active style of living• Overcome social isolation

E-Seniors targets to provide digital access for seniors and disabled people by offering ICT trainings and participating in local and European projects

SummaryMain aims of the project are:- to develop educational approaches in a community-driven context, to empower worker and volunteers in benevolent and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) through Community Media Literacy- to develop programs to include “clinic courses” in media content creation, new ICT technologies, media culture education and social media training,- to create thematic network dedicated to Community Media training for existing and aspiring CSO workers.
