About Me

• Head of Sales & Marketing @ InstaVR

- Manage all marketing activities (blog, social media, PR, trade shows, etc)- Proactively convert free customers to paid customers- Do business development outreach (camera companies, publishing

platforms, resellers)

• Previously worked in Enterprise Sales at two Software-as-a-Service companies that were subsequently acquired by Adobe (WebSideStory) and Symantec (LiveOffice)

• Fun Fact:

• Leading web-based authoring, publishing and analysis tool for the VR/360 industry

• $2.2 Million in seed stage + Series A funding

• Goal – To create a simple & powerful software-as-a-service platform for creating and distributing 360 degree virtual reality experiences

• Over 11,000 users have signed up since January 2016 launch

Step 1 – Start With a Passion for Virtual Reality

- Many years of programming experience, starting at age 6. Corporate engineering experience at Autodesk.

- Built AAA VR Cinema Cardboard, downloaded 1M+ times; also built smaller apps like Tokyo VR & Snow Mountain VR

- Contracted by a Dubai company to build an app; realized there was an opportunity to build a platform for companies to develop their own VR

- Started off with $200K in funding from angel investor

- Data is hosted with Amazon Web Services

- Made using various proprietary libraries. Head Tracking, Web GL player, etc. Gives InstaVR the ability to support various devices, even if Google Cardboard SDK doesn’t.

- Outputs include iOS, Android, Gear VR, HTC Vive, and web embed codes for WordPress and other CMS platforms.
