System Requirement For optimal performance of UBS products, please check through your PC to meet the minimum

system requirements as below.

Intel Pentium IV 1GHz processor or equivalent

1 GB of RAM or higher for Windows XP Service Pack2; 2 GB of RAM or higher for Windows

Vista

800 MB available disk space (100 MB for installation, 200 MB for each data folder, 500 MB for

.Net Framework)

Super VGA (1024 x 768) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor

Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2, Windows Vista

Network card running on TCP/IP protocol (required for RSS feature only)

CD-ROM drive (For installation only)

Windows compatible printer

Microsoft Excel and Word 2000 or higher

Microsoft .Net Framework 2

Note: Windows 2000 Pro, Windows 2000 Server below and Windows 98 are NOT officially supported.


Software Installation 1. Insert the UBS installation CD into the CD-ROM drive and wait for the UBS Software Installation

Menu to appear. If the installation menu does not appear automatically, select the CD-ROM drive in My Computer or Computer and run the Setup.htm.

2. In the Installation menu, select the UBS program that you want to install.

3. Double click on the setup file (.msi).


4. After the UBS program has been selected, the installation window will be prompted, and then

click Next.


5. On the License Agreement page, read and select I Agree, and then click Next.


6. On the Select Installation Folder page, you can do the following:

To change the installation folder location, click Browse.

To view the storage drives whichever disk space is available for installation, click Disk

Cost….

To determine the computer user who is allowed to use the UBS program, select

Everyone or Just me. After the options have been defined, click Next.


7. On the Confirm Installation page, click Next to start the installation.

8. After the installation has been confirmed, the installation will be started.


9. On the Installation Complete page, click Close.

After installation, a UBS icon will be created on the desktop.


License Activation Guide

Generate Request file 1. Log in to UBS system.

2. On Others menu, click Request License.

3. Select the license type, and then click Next.


4. On the License Agreement screen, read and tick “I accept the terms in the license

agreement” to accept the terms and conditions, and then click Next.


5. On the Profile screen, enter the following:

Registration No. (Required) Customer company registration number

Address (Required)

City (Required)

Country (Required)

Postcode (Required)

State (Required)

Country (Required)

Contact No. (Required) Customer contact number.

Fax No. Customer fax number

Email Customer e-mail address for UBS Corp. to send out the license file.

Contact Person (Required) Contact person name

Purchase From (Required) UBS Corp. authorised partner/associate name.

License Edition (Required)

6. After all required fields have been entered, click Next.


7. On the Destination Folder screen:

To change the request file folder, click Change.

After request file location has been defined, click Next.


8. Click Finish to generate request file.

9. After request file has been generated, “Request file generated!” dialog box will be prompted,

and then click OK.

Congratulation! You have successfully generated the license request file.


Activate License File 1. Log in to UBS system.

2. On the Others menu, click Activate License.

3. On the Welcome to the License Activation Wizard for UBS System screen, click Next.


4. On the Destination Folder page:

Click Browse to select your license file.

After license file has been located, click Next.


5. On the Wizard Completed screen, click Finish to activate the license.

6. After the license has been activated, “License detected successfully!” message will be prompted. Click OK.
