1. Place the bag on top of support wire

• Install Filter Bag on the sector carefully • Check that the side seam of the bag is in line with the sector edge – not twisted • Pull the filter bag downwards onto the sector and smooth out wrinkles and twist (this makes easier

the installation of the rubber sealing in the next step)

2. Install the rubber sealing and bag corner flaps carefully

• Install the rubber sealing on the upper edge of sector, ensuring that rubber goes evenly along the sector edge

• Fold the small fabric flap on top of the sealing rubber • Close the zipper about 100mm

Rev.1 / 09.2019

• Check that the rubber sealing has not slipped from its place • Ensure the rubber sealing under the zipper is smooth and straight • Fold the fabric flap at the corner underneath the zipper before closing it – pay attention to avoid

folds at the corner

3. Close the zipper

• When closing the zipper make sure the zipper closes straight and evenly • Finally check that rubber sealing lays properly in both ends and ensure that it has not slipped

aside when closing the zipper • Pull off the zipper tab completely

Rev.1 / 09.2019

4. The zipper ending

• Secure the zipper end with staples • Secure the zipper end with acid-proof staples; staples should be in X-form in order to get the best

locking • Make sure that staples do not cause holes in the bag material

5. Tighten the bag by pulling all the loose fabric downwards

• Carefully tighten all extra cloth to the lower part of the bag • This ensures a tighter bag after shrinking

Rev.1 / 09.2019

6. Attach the tightening clamp to sector root part

• Install the tightening clamp around the neck ensuring the bag is not wrinkled nor doubled underneath of the tightening clamp

• Extra cloth can be folded backwards over the tightening clamp

7. Install the top hat on top of the zipper

• Pull the protective top hat over the zipper • Install the top hat over the sector ensuring the zipper is not outside the hat at any point • If the zipper is too long and outside the hat, cut it shorter so that it fits under the hat • Be careful – do not damage the bag during the installation

Rev.1 / 09.2019

8. Shrink the bags 20 min in hot water 93 – 99 C ( 200 -210 F )

• Put the sectors in the hot water • Water in the shrink tank must be kept at 93°-99°C (200 – 210 F) during the shrinking • Make sure that the whole bag is submerged. Keep sectors in hot water for approx. 20 min

9. Final checking

• After the shrinking, check that sector bags are tight and there are no holes in the cloth • Ensure top hat and tightening clamp are tight and properly installed • Store the sectors clean and out of heat and sunlight
