Remove the contents from the box and check for missing pieces or damage. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the original place of pur- chase. Read the instructions completely before beginning. 2. Remove the Factory Radiator Cover and Factory Grille: Open the hood on the truck. Using Diagram 2 & Diagram 3, locate the factory radiator cover. To remove the pop rivets, use a flat head screwdriver to pull up on the pop rivets. To remove the factory grill you must remove the 4 bolts that are bolted to it. 2. Remove the Factory Radiator Cover and Factory Grille: Open the hood on the truck. Using Diagram 2 & Diagram 3, locate the factory radiator cover. To remove the pop rivets, use a flat head screwdriver to pull up on the pop rivets. To remove the factory grill you must remove the 4 bolts that are bolted to it.

3. Istall the Inner Frame Bracket: Locate the Inner Frame Bracket, using Diagram 4 to install at this time. Using Diagram 5, locate the body mount bolts and the inner frame nut. Remove the nuts and bolts, do not discard the nuts and bolts, these will be reused. Place the inner frame bracket up to the frame. The turned up end will go onto the bolts and then to the frame. Replace the factory nuts. The body mount bolts will go through the flat end of the inner frame bracket. Hand tighten nuts and bolts.

4. Attach the Bottom Bracket to the Inner Frame Bracket: Using Diagram 6, place bottom bracket up to the inner frame bracket. Use (4) 1/2” x 2” HH bolts with (8) 1/2” flat washers, (4) 1/2” lock washers and (4) 1/2” hex nuts to attach bottom bracket to the inner frame bracket. Hand tighten only.

5. Attach the uprights to the bottom bracket. Use (4) 1/2” x 2” HH bolts (8) 1/2” flat washers, (4) 1/2” lock washers and (4) 1/2” hex nuts to attach the uprights to the bottom bracket. Hand tighten only. If you are installing a winch carrier refer to the instructions to install the winch carrier, hand tighten only. Install the cross tubes using (4) 3/8” x 1 1/2” buttonhead bolts. Put the plastic washers between the cross tube and the uprights. Hand tighten all bolts.

6. Center grille guard on vehicle. Tighten the inner frame nut first then tighten the body mount bolts to 70 lbs. Make sure the grille guard is centered on the vehicle and tighten the 4 bolts that attach the bottom bracket to the inner frame bracket.

7. Replace the factory grille. Using Diagram 8, locate the driver top brace and passenger top brace to install at this time. Using Diagram 7, locate the factory bolt and remove the bolt. Place the driver top brace through the factory grille so that the factory bolt can be reinstalled. Place the flat end of the driver top brace to the inside of the upright. Place (1) 1/2” x 2” HH bolt with (2) 1/2” flat washer, (1) 1/2” lock washers and(1) 1/2” hex nut.. Hand tighten. Repeat procedure for the passenger top brace.

8. Ensuring the grille guard stays centered tighten all bolts. Replace the radiator cover.
