1. Shut off the water supply from the stop valves by turning the handle clockwise and remove the existing faucet from the sink.

3. Apply a thin bead of silicone sealant to the underside of the attached deck plate (11) and carefully slide the faucet shanks into the sink holes and position the faucet into the desired area.

4. Thread the plastic wing nuts (12) onto the faucet shanks and hand tighten. NOTE: It is helpful to have a second person hold the faucet in place while tightening the wing nuts (12). PLEASE NOTE: Do not remove the customer service tag with the model number and phone number as this will be helpful if you need assistance in the future.

2. Remove any dirt or plumber’s putty from around the faucet holes on the sink.

5. Apply thread seal tape to the faucet shanks in a clockwise motion. Attach one end of the water supply lines onto the faucet shanks, hot water on the left and cold water on the right. (NOTE: If you are installing new water supply lines, please refer to the supply line manufacturer’s installation instructions.) Tighten the supply line connections using an adjustable or basin wrench.

10. From underneath the sink, insert the threaded end of the drain body (16) through the drain opening in the sink and screw the drain seat (18) back onto the drain body (16). NOTE: Be sure to have the mounting nut and rubber gasket (17) on the drain body before inserting it into the drain hole.

9. Apply a bead of silicone sealant to the underside of the drain seat flange (18).

7. Remove old pop-up drain assembly. Clean all sink surfaces to remove old putty and dirt before installing the new drain assembly. Please check the drain body (16) and drain seat (18) for any damage prior to installation. If there is no damage, please install as directed. If any damage occurs please call Customer Service for a replacement before installing. Disassemble the new pop-up assembly.

8. Remove the drain seat (18) and the pop-up plunger (24) from the pop-up assembly. Turn the mounting nut (17) down towards the center of the drain body (16).

6. Apply thread seal tape onto the threads of the water supply shut off valves in a clockwise motion. Attach the remaining ends of the water supply lines to the hot and cold shut-off valves and tighten with a wrench.

15. Place the pop-up rod (14) through hole in the faucet and guide it through the holes on the lift rod strap (23). Lightly tighten the set screw (21) on the lift rod strap (see figure D). NOTE: Be sure that there is enough room to lift the pop-up rod up and down to open and close the plunger.

14. Slide the pivot rod nut (19) onto the pivot rod (20) and thread the pivot nut onto the drain body (see figure C). Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.

11. From underneath the sink, tighten the mounting nut (17) until the rubber gasket seals securely to the bottom of the sink. Make sure that the drain seat (18) is sitting straight. When tightening, hold the drain body so that the threaded pivot rod opening is facing ther back of the sink.

12. Insert the plunger (24) into the drain seat (18). Make sure that the hole at the bottom is facing the back of the sink

13. Place the pivot rod (20) into the opening in the drain body (16), making sure that the rod enters the opening at the bottom of the plunger (24, see figure A). NOTE: Make sure that the pivot rod seal (25) is seated inside the drain body (16, see figure B).

20. After the pop-up drain has been checked for leaks, empty the sink. Run hot and cold water uninterrupted for about one minute to remove any residue from the lines. Replace and tighten the aerator.

16. With the pivot rod (20) in the down position, guide the pivot rod through the nearest hole on the lift rod strap (23). Make sure that the pivot rod remains in the down position. Once it is aligned properly, tighten the set screw on the lift rod strap.

17. Secure the pivot rod (20) onto the lift rod strap (23) with the spring clip (22). Adjust the height of the pop-up rod by adjusting the set screw (21) and raising or lowering the lift rod strap (23).

18. Before turning the water on, unscrew and remove the aerator (13) from the faucet spout. If necessary, use pliers and a cloth to protect the finish of the faucet.

19. Open the hot and cold water supply valves. Check for leaks at the shut off valves and the faucet shanks. If leaks occur, tighten the nuts on the water supply lines and shut off valve. Fill the sink with water to check for leaks. If water is leaking from the drain, tighten the mounting nut (17) on the drain body (16).

TroubleshootingIf a faucet installation doesn’t deliver water properly or leaks, finding the cause and fixing it can be easy.

Water leaks from under-neath thehandle body (3).

Improper cartridge (7) installation orworn seals.

Problem: Cause: Action:

Remove the faucethandle using anallen wrench orscrewdriver (notincluded).

Remove cartridgenut and washerwith a wrench byturning it counter-clockwise.

Pull the cartridge straight up from the waterway.

Check for worn o-rings or washers.Re-install the cartridgeback into the waterway.

Unevenwater flow.

Aerator assembly(13) is dirty or improperly installed

Problem: Cause: Action:

Loosen the aeratorwith a wrench. Usea cloth to protect the finish.

Remove the aeratorby turning it counter-clockwise.

Remove any loosedirt or debris fromthe aerator assembly.

Replace the aeratoron the faucet. Wrenchtighten by turningit clockwise.

Water leaks from supplylines (notincluded).

Damaged or worn water supply linesor loose supplyline connections.

Problem: Cause: Action:

Check the water supply line connectionsat the shut-off valve and the faucet shankfor any leaks.

Tighten the nuts slightly on the supply lines with a wrench by turning them clock-wise. Don’t overtighten any supply line connections. NEVER install used supply lines when installing a new faucet. ALWAYS use new supply lines.
