Willis Insolvency Services is a dedicated team of insurance professionals providing bespoke insurance and risk management services to insolvency practitioners. We like to look at things differently and lead the market in developing innovative solutions for our clients.
Open COver SCheme We understand how important it is to find the most cost effective insurance solution without compromising asset protection. Insolvency Practitioners also need flexibility around cover and premium payment to respond to the ever-changing requirements throughout the appointment. As standard, our scheme includes:
– Flexible payment terms – premiums are only due on cover cancellation – Automatic cover for 30 days for buildings up to £15 million and up to £50 million
on request – Pro rata premiums based on the time on risk and disposals – No restrictions in cover for vacant property – Low excesses
It’s easy to see why our insolvency open cover scheme is the largest in the U.K.
General market InSuranCeWhere you have a long term realisation strategy on an appointment we are able to source a long term insurance solution which will be compared to our Open Cover Scheme prior to recommendation. You will take comfort that whatever the asset, whatever the period of risk you will have an insurance solution tailored to your needs on each single case.
ClaImS manaGement Our in house claims team are on hand to give you the guidance and support you need to get a claim paid as quickly as possible. Our new ‘Fast Track’ scheme pays claims within 30 days.
We have a delegated claims authority which enables us to pay claims on behalf of insurers, speeding up the claims process. For large losses we have a team of consultants within Willis we can call on to work with us to maximise any claim settlement.
rISk manaGement – WIllIS I QueSt and WIllIS FIre QueSt Willis developed the first bespoke health and safety product for the insolvency market. Insolvency Practitioners are not exempt from fines or penalties resulting
from breaches of health and safety legislation so Willis I Quest was developed as a solution for our clients to manage these risks.
Willis I Quest provides – In depth assessment conducted by our qualified Risk Managers – National coverage with quick response times following appointment – Traffic light report breaking down areas of compliance and non-compliance – Follow up support where required
Willis Fire Quest is our bespoke fire assessment product to manage your risks arising from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This requires a fire risk assessment to be in place which has been completed by a competent person. Willis has a national team of competent fire risk assessors all of whom are registered with the Institute of Fire Engineers.
BOndS We have been managing Insolvency Practitioner bonds since 1986. Our processing is efficient and we guarantee that your monthly bordereau submission will be processed and Summary Report issued within 28 days of receipt. Our U.K. bond team are free to discuss and advise on any queries you may have.
Our policy is to support the entire market and our client base consists of sole traders and large multi partner firms.
Our bonds are a one off premium with no renewal period which reduces your administrative burden and offers you peace of mind. Our premiums are banded or you may even qualify for our one rate bonding system where we are able to offer up to the full cover of £5 million therefore removing the need for future bond reviews and saving significant costs for conducting these reviews.
WIllIS OnlIne We lead the market with our online service called Willis Online. This gives our clients access to management information regarding their open cover appointments and policy documentation. All appointments are still handled by our experienced team in Birmingham but access to Willis Online helps our clients see and manage their overall appointment portfolio.
Following two years in development we are now able to offer Willis Online via your IPS/Turnkey IT platform. Your appointment log will now be stored on your IPS dashboards with various opportunities to run compliance checks, assess premiums, and have instant access to important documentation in a paperless environment.
