Insight Project Services is a Perth based Project Management, Design Management and Development management advisory consultancy established by Darren Staunton and Cameron Stone.

Ours is a specialised, boutique operation providing highly focused, value driven services to major blue-chip clients. Career Overview

Cameron is an experienced Project Manager with diverse expertise in commercial, retail, civic, hospital, industrial and infrastructure project management and services oriented projects. Cameron’s strengths lie in his attention to services design detail, which is an uncommon trait amongst project managers.

Cameron has developed skills in multidisciplinary design coordination, complex stakeholder management, high technology building infrastructure development, construction superintendence and administration and post completion project management. Cameron’s skills have been applied over more than 15 years in fields as broad as power generation, bulk materials handling, high rise and hospital building services management and complex building project management for a range of public and private sector clients.

Stakeholder workshops, technical group workshops and value and risk assessment workshops are familiar tasks to Cameron and he has often led teams of consultants, clients and stakeholders through these processes. Nick is an internationally experienced project manager, having worked on a diverse range of projects including large and small retail developments, high tech operational airport environments, large scale & complex CBD projects, infrastructure, commercial fitouts and specialist arenas such as chemistry centres.

Nick is a driven individual and who can apply his skills to any task put in front of him and he prides himself on his design management skill and expertise and knows how to lead and motivate a consultant team and get the best out of them as a group.

Nick’s experience in the development management arena established his well-rounded knowledge of authority approval processes and he is acutely aware of the challenges faced by Developers in the Perth market.

With his background in construction, design management, stakeholder liaison and project management, Nick would be an asset to any project team.

In 2009, Nick successfully delivered the $45M Wesley Quarter development on time and on budget. This complex, multi-faceted development site of 6,900sqm in Perth’s CBD comprised 13,500sqm of fully refurbished commercial floor space and 3,500sqm of retail space across four separate buildings on six separate titles.

Outside of work, Nick gives of his own time (and sometimes work time) as the Local Manager of the Northshore State Emergency Service (SES) unit. With more than 60 volunteers under his direct control, Nick coordinates 4 separate rescue teams to ensure a fast and effective emergency response.

Career Overview

Shay is an Assistant Project Manager with experience in subdivisions, retail, commercial and hospital design, and construction projects ranging from small to large scale.

Shay has been involved in the services design management and procurement of Fiona Stanley Hospital, development of three residential subdivisions in Perth, the development of the new IKEA Superstore in Perth and has had direct responsibility as Superintendent to the building contract on the surrounding four perimeter retail buildings.

Shay was recently involved with the design management of the David Jones Karrinyup Store alterations project and the project management of The Park Hive and The Quarie Tavern retail projects.

Shay is skilled in areas of construction administration and superintendence, design coordination, services knowledge and tenancy coordination. Shay’s skills have been applied to base building construction, retail and office tenancy fitouts, and are enhanced through direct involvement in current construction projects.

Direct on-site presence, builder and sub-contractor liaison, client relations, programming and budget reporting are all tasks Shay performs on a daily basis over a project’s lifecycle.

Mark has overseen the design, delivery and commissioning of some of the most complex health infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand, with the ability to research, understand and articulate complex building services and construction issues.

He can easily and effectively communicate with people on all levels and drive stakeholder consultations, workshops and briefings to ensure the client receives the intention and requirements of the project briefs and specifications. Mark brings a simple understanding to all projects that ‘the devil is in the detail’.

He is experienced in town planning and urban design providing a unique insight into the conceptualisation of urban development projects. Combined with project delivery experience this enables the opportunity for continual design improvement and value adding.

Experience in all facets of the management of projects including; project processes and systems, procurement strategy and implementation, project management, financial management, design management, contract and risk management, approvals coordination and stakeholder communication makes Chris a valuable asset for any project.

Matt has broad Project Management Experience within the WA Resources Sector and more recently Logistics. Blue chips clients he has worked with include Rio Tinto, Woodside Energy, BHP, Chevron and Barrick Gold.

Recently Matt has been located in International Project Management roles with Linfox and BHPB both in Bangkok, Thailand. He was instrumental in the recent delivery of the Linfox FMCG Delivery Centre in Bangkok as Project Manager and Superintendent, inclusive of Transition Management of the 24 hour operation. Following the completion of the building, Matt was further engaged to develop a Feasibility Study for a Regional Delivery Centre in Khon Kaen.

His is experienced in reviewing and enhancing of project controls and reporting, managing programming, approvals, design management, procurement and risk management.

He has strong communication skills and team leadership qualities as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks, consultants and deadlines to ensure all challenging project milestones are achieved on time.
