• EAFF used these skills to contribute to discussions of policy on cooperatives in East Africa

• January 2015: East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) passes East African Community (EAC) Co-operative Societies Act, 2014

• EAFF conducting vigorous campaign to raise awareness about the new Act at regional, national and sub-national levels in all EAC partner states
