It’s official! Choc nibbles are the DundasMarket’s number one sweets!

Newly opened Sweet Corner sells morechoc nibbles than it does traditionalfavourites cola cubes and fizzy bottles.

Sweet Corner owner Vince Gibson whoswapped a Hartlepool pet shop for thesweet shop in Dundas Market says: “Bothnew and traditional sweets sell well, butchoc nibbles are our top seller.”

Sweet Corner sells an array of traditionalsweets, modern classics and brand newflavours sold loose from jars, as well as arange of slush, candy floss and popcorn.

Customers can mix the loose sweets theychoose to make up 100 grams for 85p,while mega lollies are six for just £1. If theSweet Corner does not stock a customer’sfavourite, Vince will order it in.

Vince wanted to stay in retail after he soldhis pet shop and visited all the markets inthe North East to find the best location.

He says: “I really liked Dundas IndoorMarket and thought it was ideal for theSweet Corner. It’s very accessible and theshoppers and other traders are welcomingand friendly.”
