Additionally, 50% of revenue from the resort’s own mineralized water is also distributed. Not- for-profit socially responsible programmes are encouraged to contact us for possible SERF grants. In Harmony with our Environment ~ Oman Environment Day Donations

Each 8th January marks the national day of environmental awareness for Oman, known as Oman Environment Day. This year’s initiatives take place throughout the Sultanate for a full week, as a result of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos’ unwavering commitment to protecting Oman’s environment and natural resources.

Guest Chef Michal Konrád ~ From FouZoo to You, 30th Jan – 2nd Feb

Slovakian Executive Chef Michal Konrád takes a step aside from his hit Pan-Asian restaurant FouZoo to entertain guests at Six Senses Zighy Bay. In collaboration with the resort’s award-winning Culinary Team and at the Middle East’s Best Restaurant, Sense on the Edge, Michal will fuse the fresh ingredients from the resort’s organic garden with his own Michelin-star experience.

General Manager Axel Jarosch welcomes Chef Michal, stating, “This opportunity to host such a young talent will not only introduce our guests to dining from other parts of the globe, but also our hosts to the possibilities that exist in the Culinary world. It also serves to demonstrate the possibilities of our mountain-top restaurant. The Chefs regularly offer exceptional gastronomic events that deserve such recognition.”

Michal brings experience from such acclaimed Chefs as the Michelin-starred René Redzepi and Ichiro Kubota, as well as the prestigious and anonymously-judged Gurman Award at his restaurant FouZoo.

Guests can join Chef Michal on Wednesday, 30th January for an interactive cooking class or on Thursday, 31st January and Saturday, 2nd February at Sense on the Edge for a bespoke set course menu. Reservations are essential for each experience.

Marhaba Jose and Crystal ~ Adventure Hosts for al Feetean’s Club

The newest Zee Bees to join the Experiences team are Jose Pedroza and Crystal Bartolo. They were recruited for their expertise in adventure programming and to create exceptional experiences in Al Feetean’s Club, the resort’s teenage club for those guests aged 12 -18 years. The club excels at natural activities, offering snorkelling, rock climbing, mountain biking, slack-line, archery, abseiling, hiking and trekking, and survival skills, among many others. Facilities at the club include restrooms, Jungle Gym, pétanque, tennis and volleyball courts, air hockey, foosball, carom, table tennis and Nintendo Wii, keeping young adults entertained throughout their stay.
