A dining room is a room for consuming food. In modern times it is usually adjacent to the kitchen for convenience in serving.

Sitting room or lounge room is a room in a residential house for relaxing and socializing.

used for cooking and food preparation.
Basement
A basement or cellar is one or more floors of a building that are either completely or partially below the ground floor.
AtticAn attic or loft is a space found directly below the pitched roof of a house or other building (also called garret or sky parlor).
StudyA study is a room in a house which is used for paperwork, computer work, or reading.
