The INSEEC Research Center comprises today 56 active researchers, among which 48 are permanent researchers and 8 affiliated researchers, across five campuses, Paris, Bordeaux, Chambéry, Lyon and Monaco. Over the period 2014- 2015, a total of 102 articles were published in academic journals in management and economics ranked by CNRS and FNEGE, gathering a total of 215 stars. Thirty-one additional articles were published in academic journals beyond those ranked by CNRS and FNEGE. Twenty-two books or book chapters were published by nineteen different researchers and 199 communications were presented at scientific congress.

During the last two years, in the Finance, Control and Strategy area, 32 researchers authored 71 articles gathering 132 stars. In the area of Management and Human resources, 7 researchers authored 10 publications gathering 18 stars. In the Marketing area 31 researchers gathered 125 stars by signing 57 articles.Altogether, two articles of rank one, 38 publications of rank two, 48 publications of rank three and 38 publications of rank four were authored by 61 INSEEC researchers with a permanent status. Furthermore, also during the last two years, five affiliate researchers in Finance co-authored 18 additional stars, while four affiliate researchers in marketing co-authored 7 additional stars.The Monaco Symposium on Luxury was co-organized by INSEEC and the International University of Monaco (IUM), April 10-11, 2014. This first edition was attended by 50 academics from 15 countries and 150 practitioners. Seven sessions offering new insights on the marketing of luxury products and services featured 36 communications (selected among 66 received) and were attended by academics while 100 top managers attended several round tables. The best communication award was won by Liselot Hudders, Ghent University, and her colleagues with « The Rival Wears Prada: Luxury Consumption as a Female Competition Strategy. » Seven full-length articles based on communications were published in the January 2016 Special Issue on Luxury by the Journal of Business Research. The 2016 Monaco Symposium on Luxury took place the 7th and 8th of April 2016, with 45 communications selected among 81 received from 24 countries. 80 academics and 100 top managers participated to the symposium and the best communication award was von by Lu (Fudan, China), Pras (Dauphine & Essec, France) & Darpy (Dauphine, France) with “Virtues, Ambivalence, and Postpurchase Guilt: Luxury Goods in China”.The International Symposium in Computational Economics and Finance was organized in Paris, April 10th-11th, 2014 bringing together 95 participants from 25 countries. A total of 91 communications out of 201 submissions were presented, out which 6 were published in a Special Issue of Macroeconomic Dynamics and 20 in a Special Issue of Economic Modelling. Next edition will be held in Paris in April 14th-16th, 2016 with a focus on the main outcomes of the global economic crisis and the current issues challenging banking and finance. 84 communications will be presented (selected among 211) by researchers from 25 countries and 106 different institutions. Some selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issues of Economic Modelling, Economic Inquiry, Computational Economics, Econometrics, Open Economies Review, and Research in International Business and Finance. This research yearbook is organized in three sections, Finance-Control-Strategy, Marketing and Management-HR. It presents the academic contributions of INSEEC researchers in terms of journal articles, books, conferences and case studies. We highlight the research themes and area of specialization. We express our deep gratitude to all faculty members who contributed in the steady growth of research at INSEEC and we invite our readers to visit our Website: http://recherche.inseec.com/ where working papers can be downloaded for free.
