The Digital Joystick brings a new level intuitive of 3D control for interactive stage and focus control. The familiar joystick like control is enhanced for fine and coarse stage position control. Additional twisting control is included for very precise focus control. The ergonomic design assures comfort. The contoured palm rest is very comfortable. The precise short throw deflection is comfortable and allows full control with minimum pressure and movement.The joystick function is fully programmable with the MAC 6000 controller. Commands for setting the maximum joystick speeds as well as specific commands to enable and disable the control are available. At the highest magnification the joystick can be used to easily move in the smallest of increments. At lower magnifications the exponential gain function allows high speed, long distance traverses with exceptional control. Included are 15 fingertip function keys. When integrated with application software, users can interact with the application intuitively without distraction and unnecessary hand motion. A dedicated key is provided to lock the focus position.
