The user is guided through the semi-automatic proce-

dure ith clear screen and voice prompts. This ensures

sae and intuitive use and minimizes the chances or op-

erator conusion. The easy-to-use interace also reduces

sta training requirements.

The Cardio-Aid200B is the ideal debrillator or the hos-

pital environment. The Cardio-Aid200B user interace

and advanced eatures enable both experienced and

inrequent users to provide ast and precise debrillation

at all times.

nal pacing, and synchronized cardioversion eatures.

The Cardio-Aid200B ake up sel check automatically

starts every 24 hours advising o operational status and

ensuring the unit is ready at all times.

Battery and mains operation

The built-in battery provides at least 2 hours o monitor-

ing or 100 shocks at maximum energy level. Connectedto the mains the battery can be charged in 1 hour.

Extremely short charging time

The typical charging time is 5 seconds (7 seconds at

rst shock), hich ensures the shortest possible time to

shock.

It is possible to discharge into the built-in tester in order

to veriy energy discharge accuracy.

The STARTM (Sel-Tracking Active Response) biphasic

matic mode, hand-ree debrillation - or ergonomic

paddles ith controls. During operation the paddles

allo the setting o energy levels, the start o charge

and shock, so the user only controls the paddles anddoes not have to touch the device. Internal electrodes

are available or debrillation during open-heart sur-

gery.
