Design balance – The article is fairly balanced. In the centre there is an image of one of the band members, signifying that he is the lead member as he is in the centre. To each side of him there is a set of image and text. However there is more text to the right of him and the image is small, but to the left there is less text with a bigger image. This balances the page out fairly evenly making it easy for the reader to grasp. In the primary optical area of the article the name of the band that the spread is about is clearly stated. This straight away makes the reader familiar with who the spread is about because as said in the Guttenberg theory the reader looks at the top left hand corner of the page first. The article is both text and image heavy, which is attractive to the reader as the large amount of text due to it being a double page spread is substituted by the images.
