Citazioni del Dott. David Dobson

Other Than Conscious Communication Dave Dobson
Dr. David Dobson Quotes
I have assembled here and am offering a few quotes of Dr. Dave Dobson, to give you a
small insight of the genius and his work. The only way to experience his work is in our
Hypnosis OTCC Fun Shop.
People ask me what I do for a living and I tell them Im a de -hypnotist. After all, each andevery one of you have done a beautiful job of hypnotizing yourself into what you what it is
you believe you believe often times many of you live down to your expectations ofyourself....the mind is purposeful, and not rational...a de-Hypnotists jog is to show youhow to interrupt those self-limiting beliefs, outgrow automatic other than conscious
patterns default mental schemas and remember to remember how to enjoy the joy of living
again. Like you did when you were a kid, or are you too old to learn something new?
You and I are the sum of our experiences.
Most people have a big, sloppy file cabinet marked fear.
Anger is a dance step reaction to fear. One of our greatest fears is loss of sense of self.
When we are fearful, or response is to go back to patterns used as a child.
When we are children, we are helpless....we adapt and survive.
The purpose of language is to communicate, some people use words to hide theircommunication. Respond to their Other Than Conscious Communication first.
Describing The Other Than Conscious is like to trying to explain water to a fish.

APPUNTAMENTO CON LA SOCIETY AMERICANA: John La Valle
SONO GIUSTO PAROLEAMBIGUITA
IN ARTICOLI PRECEDENTI ho parlato delle ambiguit e inPersuasion Engineering, hofornito alcuni esercizi scritti sulle ambiguit e spiegazioni su come questi possono aiutare

Cos
il crogiolo anche linguistico.
SCRIVERE AMBIGUITA PU ESSERE DIVERTENTE e utile.
corso sulle molestie sessuali. Ho pensato Bello!
(Pubblicit! Pubblicit!)

WORDS ARE JUST WORDS - AMBIGUITY
IN PREVIOUS ARTICLES I've spoken about ambiguity and inPersuasion Engineering,we've provided some writing exercises about ambiguities and how they can assist a
person with language. I've had some questions about the relevancy of this, since we don't
seem to write about it much, at least explicitly, and so I will. One of the reasons we don't
write about it much is because, for many people, it takes something away from their own
adventure. But this article ought to tickle your fancy and give you pause to think about
exactly how much is in the background of what we do, anyway.
TO ME, AMBIGUITIES are the structure of humor, at least the most recognizable form.
And I want to make the distinction between humor and joke telling. Joke telling issomething very different: it involves a punch line (meaning someone somewhere is getting
a "punch") and so pokes fun at individuals, classes, sexes, races, nationalities, etc. These,
to me, do not come under humor in the sense that I believe that some people ought to be
developing. Of course, politics doesn't count. It's humor at its finest. You couldn't even
design some of the lines these jokers come out with.
HUMOR, ON THE OTHER HAND, involves words, sentences that involve the spreading of
the activation of networks in the brain. If you look at the last sentence in the previous
paragraph, what images, sounds, feelings were conjured up inside your mind? Especially
with the word "jokers"? How many representational systems were activated almost, but notquite, simultaneously? Now that it's been brought to your attention, you can understand
why we are not very explicit about how we do what we do. We'd just rather do it and make
a difference.
SO SPREADING THE ACTIVATION can be a very useful process. One of the reasons
why NLP works so well in English is because of the ambiguity of the language. And
American English has even more play in it than British English. We have adopted words
from so many other languages and have made them fit here. So the "melting pot" is
linguistic, as well.
WRITING AMBIGUITIES CAN BE FUN and useful. Because the recognition of ambiguity
in the brain is caused by the spreading activation, creating ambiguities BUILDS new
networks, of which the basis has been there all along: the words with meanings attached.
They just aren't being connected, or aren't being connected quickly enough.
I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS working in the corporate environment and was told I'd have
to attend "sexual harassment" training. I thought "Cool! I'll finally learn how to do it right."
But they told me that wasn't what it was about. So I thought they should call it something
else. Look around you and see all the humor in the signs, on the newscasts, just about
everywhere.

WRITING OUT AMBIGUITIES, at least the easier ones to begin with: phonological,
syntactic and scope, is a worthwhile exercise and perhaps, in addition to increasing your
own sense of humor, you'll notice more flexibility in your own language and even behavior.
The exercises are inPersuasion Engineering, Sales & Business, Language & Behavior,by Richard Bandler and me. The next Persuasion Engineeringseminar will be held inOrlando, Florida, February 2011, too!!) (plug! plug!)
ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND how ambiguities function, perhaps we'll one day get into the
deeper idea of density.
REMEMBER: WORDS ARE JUST WORDS SO DO JUSTICE TO YOUR WORDS!!

inconsce e a comportamenti.

vita.
Riuscite a dormire e a riposare abbastanza?
FATE ATTENZIONE A STARE BENE
scirvere:
chiedervi davvero come state
I PROSSIMI PASSI
E, soprattutto, divertitevi migliorando ogni giorno.

raggiungere risultati sempre pi grandi.

Improve your emotions and improve your productivity
Today we will talk about the advantages of managing your emotions resulting in more
productive and creative perceptions in life and in business.
Have you ever felt feelings of unworthiness, doubt, insecurity or feelings of not being up to
scratch, not good enough even.
At some stage we have all experienced less than fabulous feelings perhaps we felt we had
made a mistake or were embarrassed about our own qualifications.
This can be an anxiety of occasional thought in a new situation, however once thesefeelings are allowed to persist they can become quite restrictive in your own perceptions of
what is available to you.
Since our Thoughts and emotions create feelings, that lead to unconscious actions and
ultimately behavior. In time these internal representations will become a habit and
ultimately ones life style.
Keep things moving forward
It is as simple as having a plan set up to manage your own feelings, which will keep your
processes moving even in the rough spots.
The Great Family Therapist Virginia Satir said People can often create a wall around
themselves; she likened it to an Emotional prison that kept people stuck or trapped in thisperception jail.
The thoughts that get the most action ultimately influence our behavior as do our peers,
and other external communications like TV/Radio/Music/Books/Magazines.
With so many forms of media going on in this digital age, it is no wonder that we have
been unconsciously influenced by things happening outside of us, and the worst of it is atsome level it affects our own expectations in a less than positive way.
Some people can find they are more sensitive, than others and have a hard time
managing their own emotions and create a reality that says they are the only one feeling
not good enough.
In my work I have found this to be a common thread even in high achievers from time to
time.
What you can do about it

you gain perspective and create progress in your life and business.

Sleep and Play, create a schedule of your working hours with regular gaps for
refreshment, you will find you are a better Boss and a Better worker as you feel better and
can maintain your own motivation.
Do you have a Hobby?
If you do not have a hobby yet look into it, is there something you have always wanted to
learn about that you could do for hours, do you like working out, getting in the fresh air,
find something new to challenge yourself with start small this will help you to get the most
out of life
Are you getting enough Restful sleep?
Create a relaxing environment where you can sleep blissfully in pure relaxation for several
hours at night and wake up feeling fully charged and energized, if you havent tried SelfHypnosis look into it.
With self hypnosis you can do double duty, get great relaxation and mind programming
positive suggestions at the same time, what could be better.
Pay attention to feeling good
Find a way to dissolve feelings of stress or free floating anxiety that show up for no
apparent reason begin your day with a stretch or perhaps walking around the block early in
the morning and
Connect with your mind and body each day.
Expect things to turn out for the better, be creative in finding solutions and do the work for
your own personal development.
Before your relaxation at bed time, consider writing a journal to discuss your feelings and
get some you time, things you can journal about:
Ask yourself the truth about what you are feeling
Find out what you really want and create a plan to go for it with all your might.

The Next Steps
Find out more about Well formed outcomes an NLP Technique which actually walks youthrough each Goal in Timed and measurable steps with room for improvement giving you
a chance to fine tune every step of the Goal even before you physically get started with
them
Have you ever escaped inside a Book or Movie and found yourself looking forward with
your mind body and soul to the next part of the story line?
This proves the very point that our external influences affect our internal representations,
the pictures sounds and ultimately our feelings.
Remember control what goes in and monitor how you are feeling to change what comes
out.
And most of all have fun improving each and every day.
Jot down milestones in your pocket notebook, as you are overcoming them more and
more and periodically look back and see how much you have accomplished. Make sure to

VIRGINIA SATIR

microcosmo.
mondo: Medio Oriente, Asia, Europa Occidentale e Orientale, America Centrale, America
Latina e Russia.
Organizations e Other Satir Connections.
between, Peace among.
Marx e la mia Mary, Mary Quite Contrary(Your Many Faces 81).

30/38
entrambi potevano comunicare meglio.
capiter.
Dobbiamo solometterli in pratica.

TESTO ORIGINALE:
Lessons from Virginia Satir
Who Virginia was and why she mattered
Virginia Satir pioneered advances in the practice of family therapy that grew outward
beyond the world of therapy. She believed that people are capable of continued growth,
change and new understanding. Her initial purpose was to improve relationships and
communication within the family unit. Ultimately her work, which was internationally
recognized, grew to be accepted as applicable to all human communication and growth within a person, a family, a community or a company. She remained a leading force for
human growth and family therapy until her death in 1988.
The Satir Model she developed became a powerful framework for examining your self,
your situation and your choices. She believed that counseling and therapy experience
seeks to engage powerfully with the inner self. Counseling sessions encourage the client
to face pain and problems, to accept the present, and to discover inner joy and peace of
mind.
She continually planted the seeds of hope toward world peace. She once said, The familyis a microcosm. By knowing how to heal the family, I know how to heal the world.
Virginia Satir established professional training groups in the Satir Model around the world:
the Middle East, Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, Central and Latin America, and
Russia. The Institute for International Connections, Avanta Network (now The Virginia
Satir Global Network), and the International Human Learning Resources Network are 3
organizations that embodied her work and teach people how to connect with one another
and then
extend the connections. You can find many places to discover Satir through our Institutes,
Sister Organizations and Other Satir Connections.
Her world impact could be summed up in her universal mantra:
Peace within, Peace between, Peace among
Snap Shots of Virginia by Margarita Suarez
When Virginia Satir talked about her life and who she was, it was usually to make a point
in her teaching. This was because she genuinely enjoyed talking about herself and
incorporated this into what she was doing most often: working. Her work was such an
integral part of her life that inevitably she acted as if the two were one. Virginia shared
herself and her stories with great feeling and enthusiasm. In her book Your Many Faces
Virginia spoke of the diverse makeup of human beings, emphasizing the importance ofaccepting all of our diverse characteristics as who we are. She taught that by embracing
what we see as our negative traits, we can effect transformation.
-
8/3/2019 InMind ott. 2011
33/38
To illustrate this point, Virginia shared her characteristics, associating them with historical
and fictional figures. This is how she explained it:
When I divide these adjectives into positive and negative, the positive list comes out
compassionate, sexy, wise, loving and funny, all faces I would be proud to claim to the
outside world. The adjectives selfish, overburdened, and stubborn would be those facesthat I would label negative. Formerly, before I understood what I know now, I would try to
banish all traces of those characteristics I considered negative.
What I have learned is there is a germ of usefulness in each negative part as well as a
germ of destruction in each positive part
Since all of these parts reside in me, then I can say that inside me I have my Eleanor
Roosevelt, my Marlene Dietrich, my King Henry VIII, my Old Woman in the Shoe, my
Aristotle, my Jesus Christ, my Groucho Marx and my Mary, Mary Quite Contrary. (Your
Many Faces 81)
Virginias openness about herself demonstrated a profound awareness that how peopleperceive and represent themselves affects how others see them. Thus, Virginia endeared
herself to others by first being endeared to herself. In addition to talking about her many
parts, Virginia also spoke about her height as an important characteristic. She claimedthat her five feet and ten inches allowed her to see the world: I was this size by the time Iwas ten. I havent grown any since I was ten years old. That put me in a place where Inever got into competitiveness; rather, I felt free to observe anything that went along(Russell 4). Virginias awareness of her own height combined with her emphasis on eyecontact in a creative way. Often, when working with trainees, couples, or children and
adults, Virginia would use a stool or chair to bring two people to the same eye level. This
way, she argued, the taller person was no longer in a position of power over the shorter
person, so the two were better able to communicate.
Virginias efforts to bring people to the same eye level reflects that in some ways herheight had a more complex effect on her than just enabling her to see the world.
I dont think that I move-in and take over people at all. I think I feel free to look at whateverI want to look at with confidence. And its possible to understand. You see, thats another
piece of it. I dont get shut out. I think thats why I could take people that nobody elsewould have anything to do with, because they were so high risk. They would say, Oh no,
no one can do thatand wonderfully work with them.
Persistent, I am not really persistent in one way. I just know that it will happen; I dont haveto be persistent. I just move until it happens. I am not putting energy in there; I just know it
will happen. Its, which door should I open now? Which piece should be lifted up now? And, where can we go in this little piece? Its more like a puzzle and a detective story thanit is about working against the tide. And, that I also got very early. Thats been with me allmy life. (Russell 4)
In the above quote we see Virginia speaking with self-affirmation and confidence about her
work. She intended her faith in her work to be contagious, to seep out of the page, or
-

whatever medium she was using, and into the heart of her audience. In her revision of
Peoplemaking she wrote,
The New Peoplemaking is one of my efforts to make a positive difference toward enabling
congruent adults. Using many experiences with families all over the world, I have written
this book to support, emphasize, educate, and empower the family. We know there arebetter ways to deal with ourselves and each other. We have only to put them into practice.
Each of us who does contributes toward a stronger, more positive world for all of us.
Each of us can make a difference; each of us is needed. The difference we can make
begins when we develop high self-esteem as individuals. A big hope I have for this book is
that it will help each of us empower and commit ourselves to congruence. Our congruent
experiences and modeling will lead to creative ways to understand each other, care for
ourselves and each other, and give our children a sturdy foundation from which they can
develop strength and wholeness. (Introduction, x)
