Cuando los discípulos se dieron cuenta de que Cristo había resucitado su esperanza cobró vida; ahora todo lo que Él dijo se hizo realidad. No habían creído una mentira. Su victoria sobre la muerte fue la prueba de fuego que selló para siempre su firme convicción de que Él era el Mesías. Conmemoramos la muerte de Cristo en la cruz con solemnidad, y la resurrección con ala-banza y canto. Todas las bendiciones de la cruz del Salvador son confirmadas por la resurrección. Ésta demostró que el Padre quedó satisfecho con el pago que hizo el Hijo de nuestros pecados. Ahora podemos saber que nuestros pecados son perdonados, y que estamos eternalmente segu-ros. Además, Jesús promete que nosotros también seremos resucitados, y que recibiremos cuer-pos nuevos. La muerte física no pudo retenerlo, ni tampoco triunfará sobre nosotros. Porque Él venció la tumba, nosotros tenemos la misma clase de vida que Él tiene: eterna e indestructible. Como cristianos, podemos celebrar el Domingo de Pascua con gran regocijo. Gracias a este acontecimiento, nuestras vidas han cambiado para siempre. Hemos sido transformados y recibido una vida nueva. Con fe inquebrantable, confiamos en la Biblia, porque el poder de Cristo sobre la tumba demuestra que Él puede cumplir, y cumplirá cada palabra.

REFLEXIÓN DEL PASTOR

When the disciples realized that Christ had resurrected his hope came to life; Now every-thing he said came true. They didn't believe a lie. His victory over death was the litmus test that forever sealed his firm conviction that he was the Messiah.

We commemorate the death of Christ on the cross with solemnity, and the Resurrection with praise and song. All the blessings of the cross of the Savior are confirmed by the resurrection. This proved that the father was satisfied with the payment made by the son of our sins. Now we can know that our sins are forgiven, and that we are eternally safe.

Moreover, Jesus promises that we will also be resurrected, and that we will receive new bodies. Physical death could not hold him, nor triumph over us. Because he overcame the tomb, we have the same kind of life that he has: eternal and indestructible.

As Christians, we can celebrate Easter Sunday with great rejoicing. Thanks to this event, our lives have changed forever. We have been transformed and received a new life. With unwaver-ing faith, we trust the Bible, because the power of Christ on the grave proves that he can fulfill, and he will fulfill every word.
