Price

I have chosen this price as the responses from my questionnaire showed that this is the maximum amount of money most people are willing to pay for a music magazine. Also, my research on the market placed revealed how most distributors charge £4.50, making my magazine slightly cheaper therefore more people will be willing to purchase it.

Frequency of publicationMonthly

My magazine will be published monthly as my research showed how most music magazines are distributed this often. I feel that releasing copies of my magazine monthly will help to increase its sales as consumers will only be paying £4.50 a month, rather than a week or fortnight. This will be less expensive for committed buyers and means that the content will be more relevant as there will be an entire months’ worth of music news included.

Average issue size130-140 pages

I am aiming to include between 130-140 pages in each of my issues as the research I carried out on the market place exposed how the most popular music magazine like Rolling Stones and Q consisted of this many pages. Also, this many pages may help the selling rate of the product as it contains a lot of content, encouraging people to purchase it as it is worth the money
