DEVELOPED IDEA (INITIAL IDEA 4)

Themes: Depression, mental illness*Overall, about a little boy dealing with grief after his father has just died.*The alarm wakes the boy up at 7.30 AM; it’s just a normal day. He stumbles out of bed and goes about his daily routine, wash, breakfast, getting dressed etc. On his way to school he meets his friends and starts to mess around, just like a typical teenager. Whilst walking to school he cannot concentrate on his friends conversation and starts to have flash backs of his early child hood, this causes him to become anxious and angry. Once home his mum asks him if his okay but yet again he storms up to his room. The boy pulls out a letter from his box and starts furiously writing, his upset, confused and isolated. The next time we see the boy he is sobbing his heart out reading the letter to a grave and his mum comes and puts her arm around his shoulder.
