– has already been published nine times in German, five times in English and recently for the first

time in French. And the second book is now in its’ sixth edition in German, and fourth and first

edition in English and French respectively.

The third tarot card dealing with the Kabbalah is described by our author in his book “Der Schlüsel

zur Wahren Quabbalah2” [The Key to the True Quabbalah] (1st Edition, Hermann Bauer Verlag,

Freiburg, 1959). In Germany, this has four editions and a first edition has now appeared in French.

The above books are gradually spreading from Germany to the whole world3 and now, the universal

method of practice described by the author has a number of pupils.

So since the period when the mere mention of the existence of the occult was virtually taboo, and

when all my father's closest students were consistently silent about him and his work for more than

thirty years, he has become a recognized author of hermetic literature in many western countries.

About his life, the reader can read more in the autobiographical novel “Frabato” which was

published twice in German (1979, 1988) and once in English and French, and in 1993 for the first

time in the Czech language.

Currently, we are witnessing once again (like so many times before) the situation, that our book is

presented to the market from a “new unknown author”. And so comes the reader to the work of my

father. Work which is unique in its content which results from actual working knowledge of the

facts and laws. Work which is clearly organized, and written in understandable language, not just

fine words, but providing a real chance for everybody to start working on their spiritual,

intellectual, and therefore human evolution.

Lumír Bardon4

2  The spelling “Quabbalah” was retained by the original German publishers Hermann Bauer Verlag, by Dieter

Ruggeberg in his subsequent German and first English editions and by the Brotherhood of Life English editions. RawnClark comments in his book ‘ A Bardon Companion ’ – “The spelling “qUAbbalah” is unique but it is actually just as good as anyother transliteration of the original Hebrew word into English… This is merely a reflection of the uniqueness of what you willfind between the covers of this book ”. Editions in other languages have adopted the more conventional spelling „kabbalah‟.3  See http://www.abardoncompanion.com/Languages.html  for a list of editions of Bardon’s work across all

languages.4  It is not entirely clear to me when this preface was written, since 35 years from the date of the first German

edition is 1991, although 1993 is mentioned for the publication of Frabato, so we must assume 1993 or later.
