The Business Operations Division (division within DIR) established the Cooperative Contracts Program to support and optimize service delivery to the citizens of Texas.
This Program maximizes the state’s considerable purchasing power in acquiring information resources technologies for state agencies and universities.
The result is substantial pricing discounts, which agencies are unable to achieve individually.

Approximately, seventy-five (75) vendors participate in the hardware and software side of the Cooperative Contracts Program.
