The Department of Civil Engineering at S. B. Patil College of

Engineering, Indapur was established right from the inception of the institute, in

2009.Since then Civil Engineering Department has contributed not only in academic

excellence but also in research development. This brochure has given brief

information about physical amenities, expertise faculty and research education. The

varied research initiatives and special programs helps the student of department of civil

engineering to excel in competitive professional life. The department provides

testing/consulting services for Quality check, Design, and Audit of various Civil

Engineering Projects for many Private Construction Agencies and also for Government

of Maharashtra Projects.

The details provided in document will be of great use to our graduating

students and recruiters to have a common platform to share best of each other. This

will be also useful to students seeking admission in civil Engineering and also

RATIONALE

•Civil Engineering Programme is

designed to produce the graduates

with sufficient theoretical knowledge,

practical experience and design skills

that will enable them fit into any area

of Civil Engineering practice

• This programme offers students a

wide range of civil engineering courses

engineering, traffic and highway

engineering, water /wastewater and

I'm Ramesh Rathod (BE Civil Batch-2013) belong to a rural area from BaramatiMaharashtra. I was not well conversant in English when admitted in S.B.PatilCollege of Engineering Indapur in the year 2009. But the confidence given by theteachers, soft skill courses conducted by the college helped lot to improve mycommunication skill. Department encouraged me for Preparation of GATE &competitive exams. And as aresult, in first attempt I got selected through MPSCas Assistant Engineer Grade I in Water Resource Dept. of Government ofMaharshtra. This has been possible only due to the motivation of my teachers,hardwork, dedication and perseverance of my teachers as well as the disciplinedbut homely atmosphere of my college.
