INFORMATION about this year's play ..... .

Rehearsals for the play will be held Tuesday-Friday of each week with a few more rehearsals as we get close to opening night. Please see attached calendar for specific rehearsal information. Not every performer will need to be at every rehearsal. All rehearsals will take place at Woodhull School. There will be a bus each day of rehearsal that will take the students from Jack Abrams/STEM to Woodhull at dismissal time. Parents, pick-up will be at Woodhull for these rehearsals. There is no late bus home from Woodhull. Additionally, no student is allowed to walk home.

• The play is open to 5th and 6th graders at Woodhull and STEM. Everyone must audition. Students will have the opportunity to indicate whether or not they want a role or to be a part of the ensemble only.

• For your audition, please come prepared with a verse and a chorus of any song. You may sing from the show or prepare any song you feel comfortable singing.

• Roles will be posted on Friday, Nov. 15th, at 7pm on the Jack Abrams STEM/Woodhull e-boards. Additionally, the cast list will be posted in the Main Office of each building.

• The attached Audition Contract needs to be handed in by Friday, November 8th• Please turn in the contract to your homeroom teacher or the main office at either Woodhull or STEM.

We will be communicating with you via the "Remind" app. Our "Remind" class is called "WH/STEM Play 2019-2020". Both parents and students are encouraged to join the class on the app. Please see the attached page for instructions on how to join Remind via text.

Play practice will start on Tuesday, November 19th• Students will need a binder for play practice.

Los ensayos para la obra se llevaran a cabo de martes a viemes de cada semana con algunos ensayos mas a medida que nos acercamos a la noche de apertura. Consulte el calendario adjunto para obtener informaci6n especifica sobre ensayos. No todos los artistas tendran que estar en cada ensayo. Todos los ensayos tendran lugar en la escuela Woodhull. Habra un autobus cada dia de ensayo que llevara a los estudiantes de Jack Abrams/ STEM a Woodhull a la hora de salida. Padres, la recogida sera en Woodhull para estos ensayos. No hay un autobus que llegue tarde a casa desde Woodhull. Ademas, a ningun alumno se le permite caminar a casa.

• Las audiciones se llevaran a cabo el martes 12 de noviembre y el miercoles 13 de noviembre. La obra esta abierta a estudiantes de 5to y 6to grado en Woodhull y STEM. Todos deben audicionar. Los estudiantes tendran la oportunidad de indicar si quieren un papel o simplemente ser parte del conj unto. • Para audicionar, los estudiantes deben venir preparados con un verso y un coro de cualquier cancion. Pueden cantar del programa o preparar cualquier canci6n que se sienta c6modos cantando.

• Los roles se publicaran en el tablero electronico Jack Abrams STEM/ Woodhull el viernes 15 de noviembre a las 7 p.m. • El contrato de audicion adjunto debe entregarse antes del viernes 8 de noviembre. al maestro de aula del alumno o la Oficina Principal en Woodhull o STEM. • Las presentaciones se llevaran a cabo los dias 30, 31 de enero y 1 de febrero.
