Hospitality House Sharing God’s Grace with the Other Victims of Crime
912 10th Street, Huntsville, TX 77320***936-291-6196***wwwthehospitalityhouse.org
Built in 1986, the Hospitality House has assisted hundreds of families of prisoners each year. The
staff are dedicated to provide the physical and spiritual needs of prison families with temporary
shelter, food, counsel and witness. They are committed to the strengthening of spiritual and
family relationships to help them see the hope that only God can provide. The ministry is
directed by Debra McCammon. Her husband, Joe, serves as chaplain for the ministry.
This family ministry maintains contact with families, inmates, chaplains, and other support groups
both inside and outside of prison. Special attention is given to providing gifts for children at
Christmas time and on special occasions.
The purpose of the Hospitality House Ministry is to promote the public welfare and alleviate the
hardships of the disadvantaged by ministering to the physical and religious needs of families of
prisoners incarcerated in the penal system of the state of Texas. These families are the “other
victims” of crimes.
You and your church, Sunday School class, organization, business or family can share with those
who are in need by doing the following:
Pray for the Ministry of the Hospitality House
Support the Hospitality House financially
Volunteer to be part of the Ministry
Volunteer to provide repairs to the House
Donate food items for distribution
Invite a friend to participate
Invite the Director of make a presentation to your church or group
House statistics for the 1st Quarter: 577 guests, 323 volunteers, 1304 volunteer hours, 42 Bibles
given, 31 counseled, 36 churches spoke in, and 9 executions where families were ministered to.
