-noun

1. the degree to which the output of a system accurately

reproduces the essential characteristics of its input signal

Fidelity is achieved by designing each part of a system to

have minimum distortion, so that the waveform of the signal

is unchanged as it travels through the system.

Series 2 Coaxial BS42 / BS52 / BS62 / BS462 / BS682 / BS693

Bassworx Series 2 loudspeakers are the perfect

solution to poor-sounding OEM sound systems.

They offer a dynamic and broad frequency response regardless of volume, while its durable, water-resistant

IMPP cone and butyl rubber surround ensure durability in

the harshest of environments. The efficiency of Series 2

speakers give them the ability to produce great sound

through the head unit or low power amplifiers.

1. the source of energy used to operate a machine or

other system.

Ohm’s Law: Power (watts) = Voltage x Current

Electric power is defined as the amount of work done by

an electric current, or the rate at which electrical energy

is transmitted. The SI unit of power is the watt. When

electric current flows in a circuit with resistance, it does

work. Devices convert this work into many useful forms,

such as heat, light, motion and sound. The term sine

power is used in the specification or measurement of

audio amplifiers or loudspeakers.

BA Series 3 Class D SPL AmplifierBA3000.1D

The Bassworx 3000.1D is power personified.

Designed using military-spec, audiophile grade

components, the 3000.1D can pound out an excess

of 3000 watts of bass-inducing power without

breaking a sweat. An over-built heat sink, oversized

capacitor banks and dual zero gauge power terminals keep this giant

running smoothly. Capable of operating at 18V for the extreme SPL competitor, the BA3000.1D is not for

1. the variation, typically in time, of some measure about

a central value, or between two or more different states,

as the pressure of a sound wave or the voltage of an

alternating current.

The term oscillation is for most purposes synonymous with

vibration, although the latter sometimes implies primarily

a mechanical motion. The alternating current and the

associated electric and magnetic fields are referred to

as electric (or electromagnetic) oscillations. Any effect

that varies in a back-and-forth or reciprocating manner.

Examples of oscillation include the variations of pressure in

a sound waves.

Series 1 SubwooferBW13.1

When it comes to making bass, there

is no replacement for displacement. The

BW13.1 is an odd-ball driver in a class of entry level subwoofers, yet the

performance is anything but ‘entry level’. From its 13” IMPP cone, to the 2” voice coil, every inch matters in

achieving the biggest boom for the buck.

Series 2 SubwooferBW10.2 / BW12.2

Don’t let the slick cosmetics of the Series 2 subwoofer fool you: this

subwoofer is constructed of a rigid IMPP cone mated to a butyl rubber surround

for high power handling and low distortion. Set in a cast aluminum basket,

outfitted with 8ga terminals, and driven by a 2” voice coil, this subwoofer will

pound out up to 750W of power. Equally stunning

when mounted traditionally or in reverse - Series 2

subwoofers look as great as they pound.

Series 3 SubwooferBW10.3 / BW12.3

The Bassworx Series 3 is the most dynamic

subwoofer in the Bassworx lineup. Incorporating a lightweight glass fiber-

impregnated cone and high excursion surround for precise

music reproduction, this woofer is capable of

handling extreme power, digging deep into the

low frequency range and doesn’t shy away from

rapid-fire bass. Who says you can’t have it all?

Series 4 SPL SubwooferBW12.4

The Bassworx BW12.4 was engineered with one thing in mind: disturbing

the peace. Using an ellipsoid, Kevlar-

impregnated paper cone affixed to a high-excursion

urethane surround, and matched with carefully

chosen mechanical components enable it to withstand excessive amounts of power. The BW12.4 will turn heads

and rattle bones with every oscillation.

-noun

1. the varying difference, at a fixed point in a given medium,

between the pressure caused by a sound wave and either

atmospheric pressure or the average pressure of the

medium.

The instantaneous sound pressure at a point can be

harmonic, transient, or a random collection of waves. This

pressure is usually measured with an instrument that is

sensitive to a particular band of frequencies. The sound

intensity, which describes the rate of flow of acoustic energy

per unit area, is given by the mean square pressure divided

by the acoustic impedance, defined as the product of the

medium density and compression wave speed.
