INDUSTRIALDIRECTORY-2011
THE OFFICIAL INDUSTRIAL DIRECTORY
HIS MAJESTY SULTAN QABOOS BIN SAID
Owing to the great support and attention, the Omani industry kept an ascending track in all its aspects during the era of blessed renaissance in terms of the growth in the volume of industries from the small and medium to heavy industries in Sohar and Duqum or in terms of the diversity of these industries that included various activities and fields.
Also increased the capability of these industries to adopt modern technologies, to improve quality level, to achieve competitive standards, to accommodate huge number of national workforce and to open investment opportunities especially in Small and
Medium Enterprises.
As usual, the accurate and correct information is the key player of introducing and promoting the entire sectors including the industrial sector. Thus the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry shouldered the responsibility of dedicating contributions to introduce this sector through a group of activities like publishing industrial directories. We are proud to present the current edition 2011 of this directory with plenty of developments and updates. We hope that all who read or go through the directory will feel the difference.
The directory include a number of information and data that we find very significant not only for understanding the prosperity of Omani industry but also for learning the potentials of this sector, its developmental plan and future growth. Apart from this the directory projects the most significant of existing industries, available opportunities, methods of benefiting from the incentives and facilities of this vital sector.
We hope that the information of this guide will contribute to open new horizons in the field of industrial investments in the Sultanate.
