INDUSTRIAL CHEMICAL COMPANY is one of the leading manufacturers of several building mate-rial and decor products, spreading across the local markets of the U.A.E. Middle East, South Asia and Russia. Our company has grow successfully since its inception in 1974 when we operated with just fifty staff members. We started our portable ac-commodation and housing units construction. Our continuing strive for quality which places a high emphasis on research development and procure-ment of quality materials from Europe and the U.S.A., has helped maintain our strong positioning in the market.

About Us

Being part of the Speed House Group, our journey since inception in 1987 has been a very exciting one.

Although the start was to supply our sister com-panies with minor GRP products to their prefab housing units, today I.C.C products have become a market leader in mass storage solutions for dif-ferent types of liquids & fluids. Whether it’s sewer-age, water or oil, we custom design and produce a solution for our clients. We have also established strategic alliances with companies in Korea, South Africa, France and Greece to ensure using the latest in technology & raw materials.

Not limiting ourselves to storage tanks, we also produce all types of electric enclosures, bathtubs, swimming pools and decorative items which en-sure our clients a solution to any of their G.R.P. (Fiberglass) needs.

Water Quality

• Smooth mirror surface of the panel pre-vents dirt adhesion and bacterial growth.• Light proof to prevent algae growth.• Light transmittance for panels including manhole cover is 0,00%• The hot pressing method for panels elimi-nates styrene and makes it an ideal prod-uct for storing drinking water.• Tanks are completely sealed, manhole covers and air vents are by design dust and insect proof.• No metal components need to be in con-tact with water.• Reinforcement bolts and nuts for assem-bly are on the outside.• Exclusive base panel design ensurescomplete flow drainage, whicheliminates residual contaminatedwater with cleaning.

Leakage

• Exclusive design of convex bottom pan-els with flexible rubber sealant is most ef-fective against risk of leakage.• Modular panel with low thermal coeffi-cient and flexible rubber sealant ensures a leak free design.• Accessible from all sides including bot-tom for easy visual inspection

Repair & Maintenance

• Repair and maintenance can be doneexternally without interrupting supply.• Irreparable accidental damage will be solved by replacing damaged panel, with basic hand tools.• Partitions inside tank allows continuous water supply during maintenance.• Maintenance limited to outside bolt tightening / internal hose water pressure wash down without chemicals.• Complete water drainage by design.

Adaptability of size & design

• Flexible sizes and shapes by design could range from 1 m3 to 10,000 m3.• Can easily be extended at any time as storage requirement increases.• Can be relocated easily from one location to another several times.• Limited to 5.00 mt in height.• Designed to ensure no steel is in direct contact with the consumable water.

Handling & Assembly

• Lowest overall skill level of labor required for assembly labor can be done by the lo-cal community.• Low man-hour labor requirement. E.g. (5x5x2 m : 50 m3) this tank requires 11 man hours for assembly.• Minimum assembly requirement, using basic hand tools. • Panel is lightweight and easy to handle. Uniform quality end product.• Minimum volume and lightweight. E.g. Pallet 2m3 = 400 kg to build a tank of 9 m3, transport volumes decrease propor-tionately per m3 as tank volumes increase in size.

• Panels individually designed for optimal performance with a safety factor of 8x.• Designed and tested to withstand 100 years of anticipated natural conditions.• Long life UV protection.• Low thermal conductivity.

Sungil’s GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) sheets are produced and imported from Korea. Our GRP water tank is made from the finest materials to en-sure top product quality and customer satisfaction. The Glass fiber Reinforced Panel is molded under high temperature and pressure conditions to main-tain the best endurance. Using stainless steel for the exterior, the panel exhibits excellent resistance to erosion. As the surface of G.R.P panels are even and smooth, sediment deposits do not form, thus corro-sion does not occur. In addition, external light is fully blocked and any propagation of bacteria or various germs is inhibited, making hygienic use over long time periods possible.

Durability

• No service failures reported in 25+ years.• Hot pressed sheet mold compound (SMC) at 150 degree Celsius and 100 kg pressure per cm produce a uniform panel of solid homogenous construction.• Average serviceable life for panels in normal condition without maintenance is + 40 years.• Tested for heavy impact, weather condi-tions, loads, settling and earthquakes.• Safety factor of 8x above maximum anticipated load. • Excellent ultra violet (UV) resistant char-acteristics and performance.• Option of pre-insulated panels to avoid the risk of freezing or overheating.

GRP Lining Surface Coating

In order to ensure good wetting good ad-hesion of the coating should be primed with a resin mixed. This is usually applied with lamb-skin rollers. This coat of primer should seal all the pores, but not be more than 0.2 - 0.3mm thick.

After the primer has galled, layers of chopped strand mat are applied by the hand lay-up method followed by resin with roller applications. Each layer air bubbles are expelled by using a steel roller in a process that meets to the con-sultant and client’s requirements.

GRP Pipes and Manholes

Different types of resins are used, lead-ing to the following categories:

GRP using Isophtalic Resin in structural wall and Vinylester Resin in liner (where applicable). For both underground and aboveground applications, restrained and non-restrained systems, in tempera-tures up to 60°C

GRV using Vinylester Resin throughout. For industrial application where specific chemical resistance is required. Used mainly in aboveground applications in temperatures up to 85°C

GRE using Epoxy Resin throughout. For industrial applications in media temper-atures up to 120 °C. Additional external protection can be applied to allow for ad-ditional fire-retardance.

Enclosures are designed and manufac-tured for indoor & outdoor application to protect electric equipment and instru-ments.

It is made from Corrosion Resistant GRP. The components of the Enclosure body and doors have an excellent finish. Avail-able in different colors as per your require-ments.
