ABOUT IDF BAL GURUKUL

• Flagship Project of IDF - Started in 2005 – Impacted more

than 1 lakh students so far.

• An after school supplementary education program.

• Caters to students from lower socio-economic background

who are late-bloomers and slow-learners.

• Children are first generation school-goers

• Bal Gurukuls are run in collaboration with NGOs/ CBOs/

Schools - in urban and rural areas.

• Add-ons for BGs – iDiscover (field visits), Moral Value

Education , Cultural activities and Sports

• Bal Gurukul Model is Replicable and Scalable
