It is meant that the Army is least corrupted organisation in India. For lifetime they give service to the nation but don't earn for themselves.

How much salary would you demand to do what is shown in the below pics?

People joining the Army are not paid high and neither have they joined it for that reason. Hence they are never able to afford BMW & AUDIs. They

join Army to serve the nation out of Patriotism.

This is what they do!

Ok to do this?

Ready to turn yourself deaf?

Can you face bullets to kill terrorists?

Can you do such selfless service?

Can you be in the war-zone?

Can you risk yourself for the safety of others?

This is...........

Because Audi and BMW are too mainstream:

No, but they do have earnings.Like this for personal use,

And, this for speedy leisure's.

And this, for the kids :

And, this for those professional ones:

But the real question is, "Have you seen any BMW or AUDI car owner being able to get into Indian Army or drive Arjun Tank for that matter?". 

BTW, those who get into Indian Army for money reason, earns enough and those who get into Indian Army for pride, earns that too. :)

We desire for it; and they fly high with it.

They Live so that we can dream; they die so that we can live.

BMW and AUDI are just the dust of their toes. They are much above

these.

Indian Army officers carry with a personality that is much more valuable than a BMW or an Audi car.

Even if they have the money to buy such cars, they don't care about showing it off, they have enough content in themselves to impress others with.

Heard this somewhere;  "A throne doesn't define a king, but the king defines the throne"

Similarly, Audis and BMWs are not needed by the army men. Whichever vehicle they drive, it will be as majestic as the BMWs and Audis that others drive. It becomes immaterial for them which vehicle they drive once they come to the public life like the rest of us.

Can Indian army officers buy a BMW or an Audi? Can a mid-level employee of Infosys buy a BMW or an Audi? 

Sure they can if they make good strategic investments with time. 

Just to tell you that after the Sixth pay commission the salaries in the Army are comparable with what civilians get. As an

officer a person is able to save much more than his counterpart middle class Indian. The primary reason is that they do not have

to spend on housing and cars. Same with food. 

Now before you start thinking me as a hater of the Indian army, let me tell you that my best friend of ten years is a

captain in the army. 

He is doing well for himself. He does not think that he is not earning for himself. Army now pays good salaries and perks. This is just an old

notion that army does not pay well, and this forces Indian youngsters to never even think of joining the army. 

As your rank starts increasing, you start getting jeeps and other vehicles for your use. Even the cars come at a discount for Indian army officers as compared to civilians. The perks are just like in any organisation for

that matter. With time, your profile increases and perks too. 

Many Indian army officers also come from good rich families who might have luxury cars. 

Audi & BMW car symbolizes that one is rich in terms of Money.

Indian Defense Officer symbolizes that one is rich in terms of discipline and reputation. 

It’s easy to own an Audi or BMW; but it’s really hard to be an Officer and devote your whole life for the country.  

Without spending a single from salary it will take ₹Indian army 6 years to buy the cheapest Audi in the market... With a salary of 30K a month.

Joining a military is not about living a luxurious life.

They have the most badass motorcycle ever.

Needless to say, they look awesomely cool.

Even if you have money you can't afford these but Audi and BMW can be

"If wishes were horses, beggars would ride them!” goes the old saying. So maybe one fine day, the government might decide to "honour" some of these brave men and women with any of these

awesome cars.

Oh, and if the government really does the honouring part, it would simply be met with rejection. Why? An Indian soldier

doesn't accept an honour. S/He earns it.

They earn not the Audi's, but the class and distinction. 

They earn not the BMW's, but the pride and respect.

And most importantly, they are loved and respected widely than their fellow citizens who own fancy Audi's and BMW.

Why should they limit themselves to just AUDI or BMW when they get to fly MIGs, Sukhoi etc. and get to drive those mean tankers or

those hugely intimidating army trucks. AUDI, BMW etc. are only for us civilians to get noticed.

  Any army, navy or air force person can get noticed by merely walking

in by their gait. Believe me an air force commander is more intimidating than an AUDI. The sight of an army soldier in a BULLET

is better than even a celebrity sitting in a BMW.

Even if they can afford why would they want to bother about these miniscule materialistic things. They have seen much better ones.

Have you ever seen any millionaire fighting for country on the borders?

 Have you ever seen any millionaire leaving family behind for his

country? 

Have you ever seen any millionaire holding a gun to protect his country?

 Have you ever seen any millionaire thinking about giving up his whole

life for country?

It takes nothing to drive an Audi or BMW. You require balls of steel to drive tank or Armed personnel carriers vehicles.

Cause their ambition is 

And not

Bcoz.... Nothing Can beat them...

On Road Or Off-Road....  

Because they would prefer to travel in this rather than a BMW.

  

Normally BMW and AUDIS are brought to show up brand... ..And I think brand value of INDIAN ARMY is much

more than them...  

Moreover, its depend on your choice want to drive BMW or t 72, Arjun.
