AboutIndependent Leaders, The Arts has recently emerged as a strand of the brand representing a collective of young energetic artists determined to bring superb design manifested out of such processes as illustration, graphic art, digital media, and photography.
Independent Leaders aims to champion and nurture original design talent from around the world by working with up and coming artists, as well as collaborating with more established designers.
The current collection of work available from Independent Leaders, is produced by six artists and is available worldwide through the online store. The collection consists of a variation of Brazilian inspired pieces, which have been duplicated as giclee prints, each limited to an exclusive one hundred editions. Each is produced with an astonishing amount of detail, sequentially numbered upon sale and signed by the artist. The original, one o!, artworks can also be purchased directly from the online gallery.
As new artists join the collective, exhibitions will pop up around the country showcasing the talent introduced by the brand. Independent Leaders intends that the brand will evolve to represent a truly exciting and diverse community of artists and designers, working within a wide range of artistic processes.
By utilising the comprehensive talent of painters, illustrators, typographic and digital artists from within the collective, Independent-Leaders plan to demonstrate that exciting and unique works of art can sit beautifully alongside the fashion, music and photography strands of the brand to furthur enforce the brand ethos.
The BrandIt started in Rio, Ipanema Beach, a place full of fun, sex, colour and freedom. A city alive from dawn till' dusk.
Two friends from London would take the sites, sounds and "lavours from Rio back home and go on to create a lifestyle brand completely di!erent from anything they had ever seen before. But most importantly they would adopt the independent spirit of the people they had met who lived passionately, freely and con"idently beyond the rules of society.
Independent leaders was born and through fashion, music and the arts aims to inspire a movement of creatives who live life free from control.
Launch - Summer 2014 Plan- Before brand release in February 2014 IL will take on 6 creatives from the art world.
- By July 2014 IL plan to have recruited 20 artists making up a collection of at least 20 artworks. This will complete the "irst arts collection.
- The "irst collection will pre launch through an exhibition in an East London location in July 2014.
- The o#icial launch will take place in conjunction with the fashion, music and photography section of the brand over summer 2014 through a large scale press launch party.

The Collective (04/14)Patrick Bremer:
Patrick explores the boundaries of collage using old magazines and books collected form thrift stores and car boot sales, producing portraits of the people around him. The medium allows for quick breaks between !igurative and abstract elements, adding a !luidity and dynamism to what is essentially a traditional portrait.
Patrick has won The De Lazlo Foundation Award from The Royal Society of ‘Portrait Painters for his !igurative work’.
Will Clarke:
Will Clarke is an artist and illustrator born in London. He holds a diverse talent in printmaking, architectural drawing and design. Wills work mainly focuses on location and place, where he meticulously develops intricate landscapes and views of Britain's cities and most loved locations.
David Bray:
Patrick Bremer was born in Brighton, England, and received his BFA from Wimbledon School of Art in London.
David has been working as an illustrator since his graduation from Central St. Martins London in 1992. His commercial clients include such brands as Agent Provocateur, Puma, Absolut, MTV, BBC Television, Harvey Nichols, Canon and Vodafone. David is a often celebrated for his portrait work and has been exhibiting as an artist since 2006 with solo shows in London and Los Angeles.
Joshua Hibbert:
Joshua Hibbert is a multidisciplinary creative who’s work bridges the gap between digital and analogue techniques, merging both neo-expressionism, surrealism and dada in!luences to create contemporary statements both visually and sonically. Joshua underlying interest is in the hybrid thread between nature and digital reality.
Fraser Gillespie:
Fraser Gillespie is one half of Victym collective. His work is shaped heavily by the vinyl design industry of the 70's while also taking inspiration from Nouveau artists such as Alphonse Mucha. By combining archival imagery, original illustration and a vast knowledge in the digital arts, Fraser is able to create truly inspiring
