Inclusive Leadership March is recognized as Women's History Month (WHM) with the 2018 theme Nevertheless She Persisted”, honoring women who fight all forms of discriminaon. We have a bit of our own historical first with Dean Eleanor Green serving as the first female Dean for the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedi- cal Sciences in its 100 year history. CVM encourages everyone to reflect, celebrate, and enjoy this years highlighted month, celebrang women. CVM is an inclusive leader in the field of Veterinary Medicine. The college is proud to celebrate inclusion and diversity with highlighted monthly programming. This month, TAMU–CVM spotlights : Womens History Month Show Your Colors 2017 Show Your Colors 2016 The Texas Conference for Women provides connecon, movaon, networking, inspiraon, and skill building for thousands of Texas women each year. The 19th annual Texas Conference for Women will be held November 9, 2018 at the Ausn Convenon Center in Ausn. The mission of the Conference for Women is to promote, communicate and amplify the influence of women in the workplace and beyond. At our annual nonparsan, nonprofit conferences, we bring together thousands of acve professionals to connect, renew, and find inspiraon in community. We are commied to helping close the pay gap, eliminate gender discriminaon and achieve parity in company leadership and on corporate boards. We inspire the next generaon through our Young Womens program and we support local nonprofit organizaons. The Conference for Women harnesses the collecve wisdom, experience and energy of inspiraonal women and men of all ages and backgrounds in service of our values: supporng and giving back to our growing naonwide community.
