We organized MS-Office Powerpoint and Word classes for all first year students during their 1sem.For Each section we organized 2 hours per week. These classes are handled by our internal faculty M.Sowjanya,G.Sreeja,K.Naresh,P.Sreenivasulu,K.Srinivas and B.Hussain. These classes are conducted to make the students aware of online certifications like RankSheet and Hackerrank so that it improves their self learning capability and they are also aware of how to prepare presentations, posters and brochures which are use full skills in many competitions.974 students from 1st year got RankSheet certicates in MS-word and MS-Powerpoint.

Bala Prasad-chairman of IEEE CS chapter Hyderabad section,principal consultant & technology head digital initiatives, HiTech Innovative Solutions Head - Cloud, Microsoft, Java and Open Source previously worked as HiTech Technology Excellence Group Head, he has total of 20 years experience in industry

T.Vidya sagar- vice chairman IEEE CS chapter Head - Content Services , Digital Marketing, Cloud @Hitech , Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. An MCSA and MCSD certified solution architect TOGAF certified Enterprise Architect.

Dr. Meerja Akhil Jabbar is a Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department, Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad awarded him a doctoral degree for his work in Data Mining, a specialization of Computer Science.

He has been teaching for 17 years at various places in and around Telangana. He has a lifetime membership in technical bodies like the Indian Science Congress Association and the Computer Society of India. He is a senior member of IEEE (International) and and the Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE) and also took onto his shoulders the responsibility of being the secretary of the IEEE Computer Society (Hyderabad),are the guests for this inauguration.

There our students visited so many recent innovations like drones,robotics and they learnt how IT is used in agriculture. Music therapy to overcome depression .we also visited startup showcase.

The Department of CSE has organized project Expo under IEEE & CSI professional chapters in association with all the technical clubs of the department. Project Expo is an organized presentation and display of models/working projects competition. It is the idea of sharing knowledge. It is also an endeavour to foster and enhance the culture of scientific inquiry and its relevance in real world applications and underline the strong connection among student community. This Project Expo will motivate the students to a whole new level as they demonstrate their projects to other students, representatives from Institutes etc. getting their views, reviews & appreciations.

This event was held on 06th of March in A-Block our students showcased around 80 projects in the fields of Android, Machine learning, Web and IOT. Around 600+ students and 60 faculties visited the expo. Projects like smart attendance, image to text conversion, food tag, footstep power generator, secret message and smart helmet are showcased in the expo

was the resource person for this event,Design thinking is a 5 stage process using which we can get solutions for human centric problems.32 students from outside colleges 4 students from our college participated in this event.

Design Thinking is a five stage process enables to design solutions for human-centered problems. it helps to product/service quality by leveraging the tools and methods by redesigning the experience.

This session establishes the Design Thinking foundation and explains the need of Design Thinking in today's context. It helps to answer few of the questionsWhat is Design Thinking? Why is it important? And how does design-led innovation differ from technology-led innovation? Activity 1: Critical and Enhanced Thinking 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM : Service Design The service industry is rapidly overtaking manufacturing in advancing economies. Hence Service design eventually gets operational and important. Service design as an evolving process that has to be monitored and measured and refined. Use of data and the designof differentiated services.• The [0,0]-Framework for Service Design• Information extraction and usage• Design of differentiated services and use of dynamic/variable pricing• Real-time monitoring and feedback loop• Continuous Improvement in the service design process Participants will also be shown a selection of the most useful and relevant tools and techniques used in service design. This will be done via a hands-on workshop in which some of the key practical problems are analyzed. It gives Participants the opportunity to begin to apply the learning and tools immediately with practical activity. Activity 3 : Applying SCAMPER to resdesign a product 2:45 PM : 3:00 PM : Break 3:00 PM : 4:30 PM : Design Reimagination This Session introduces participants to two design approaches : De-Computation and Design Without.De-Computation is an approach to learning computational thinking (a practice used by computer scientists to seek effective routes through solving problems) – not by programming computers, but by identifying problem scenarios, taking them apart, looking at them anew and visualising alternatives. It’s about de-mystifying, de-constructing, de-composing, de-coding and de-programming systems, minds, space and time. Activity : Ethnography based activity within campus Design Without is a design approach that focuses on breaking down assumptions, challenging ways of thinking and encouraging experimentation. It encourages people to re-imagine their own areas of expertise and to think about how these intersect with other kinds of practice and wider thinking in society. Above all it promotes taking risks, joining the dots, looking beyond appearances, listening to and learning from others, being open to change, making mistakes, collaborating, working together and having fun! In this Session De-Computation will be used to help participants explore creative approaches to identifying, analysing and interpreting problem areas. Design Without will be used to introduce participants to creative approaches to iterating improvements and inventing radical alternatives Activty : Design Next generation Camera
