Meeting agenda, last month’s minutes, various reports and event announcements were available before the meeting began.

CALLED to ORDER 7:30 p.m. and opened with the recitation of the Serenity Prayer, Preamble and Twelve Traditions with Introductions. Attendance: 34. Minutes were approved with notes. Rick stood in as fill in chair.

BIRTHDAYS FOR THE MONTH: Katharine 2 years February 9th, Alyssa 6 Months February 24th, Dani 8 Months March 1st.

OLD BUSINESS: 3 Officer Positions remain open: By-laws committee, Recording Secretary, and Newsletter. Elections will be held until these positions are filled. After two consecutive months of being open sobriety time requirements may be waived.

NEW BUSINESS: Area representative election. Requirements and job descriptions where given as well as listing what meetings are included in each area. Third Legacy elections were held. The following area Representative positions were filled: Area 1: Chris H; Area 2: Elisa; Area 3: Paul; Area 4: Terry; Area 5: Osiris; Area 6: Teresa; Area 7: Randy; Area 8: Open but Dani will be filling in until the two month period that makes time waivable has passed, unless someone who meets requirements takes the position before then; Area 9: Rick; Area 10: Jasmine. The position for Area 11 representative remains open.

OFFICER REPORTS: CHAIR, Kellie: Absent. VICE-CHAIR, Jesse: Information packets available for any new intergroup reps to receive after the meeting. TREASURER, Chris: No report available. OFFICE MANAGER, Bob: Absent. BY-LAWS COMMITTEE CHAIR: Position OPEN but Keith is filling in until two month period when time will be waivable: Met quorum and had successful meeting, next meeting will be the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6p.m. at the Central Office. TELEPHONE DIVERTER COMMITTEE, Fred: No flyers available this month please have interested people look up open shifts on the website that will be listed in the Grape-SCCIN. 6 shifts are currently open. ACCTIVITIES COMMITTEE, Maddie: The planning committee for Spring Fling will start meeting the 2nd Tuesday of the month at her home at 7:45p.m. BIRTHDAY SPEAKERS MEETING UPDATE, From James: No longer holding dance afterward due to steady decline in attendance making it financially inviable. This month it will be hosted by the Bay Group March 4th at 7p.m. At the Mid County Senior Center. NEWSLETTER COMMITTEE: Open WEBSITE, Jess: Has been collecting information regarding events and updating the website this included the SC Fellowship St. Patrick’s day Alcathon March 17th 9a.m.-11p.m., and the Watsonville St. Patrick’s day dance March 18th At the First United Church at 6:15p.m. GENERAL SERVICE LIAISON, Eric: Service assemblies will be held this weekend, at the GSR meeting next Wednesday they will begin going over annual agenda topics for GSR’s to bring back to their groups. H&I LIAISON, Darren: Absent.

AREA REPRESENTATIVE REPORTS: None

The meeting closed with the traditional closing circle at [approximately] 9p.m.

Next Steering Committee Meeting will be Wednesday March 15th. Next Intergroup Council Meeting on April 5th.
