has many seeing shades of orange, red and yellow, here at Riverfront, we’re seeing pink.

This year, we again return with our Awareness Makes Cents campaign, geared toward drawing attention

to breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection. To see everything that this year’s campaign includes, check out RiverfrontFCU.org/AMC. True to our community mission, we will be raising funds that will go to some really great local not for profits currently working with those in Berks undergoing treatment and supporting their caregivers. While we have a few new things to add, the piggy bank auction will be back, not to worry. Additionally, for those of you that enjoyed the small blue piggy bank giveaway that we had for our grand opening, we have brought them back. This time, the pigs are pink and the purchase of them goes to greater good!

As we get into the full swing of the fall, crisp air and school activities, the change of season still allows for great opportunities to save when borrowing. When you use your Riverfront Cash Rewards VISA credit card, you can take advantage of earning double the cash back on all of your purchases straight through the holidays!

Gearing up for SUV season? We have you covered there with a payment you can afford and a 90 Day Holiday from your payment too when you finance with us. As you know, here at Riverfront, we are constantly evolving to make things bigger, better, faster and stronger for you, our members. So, while the year may be winding down, we are still hard at work for you!

Other Ways to Participate Throughout the Month:

Donate We’ll continue our tradition of having piggy banks at all branches so members can make donations that will be given to Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County (BCSSBerks.org), a local organization which offers assistance to individuals in our community who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. At our new Keiser Branch location, you can donate your spare change through an ITM transaction to help too! And for a minimum donation of $5, you can pick up a small pink plastic piggy and, if you’re lucky, there might be a special prize inside.

Awareness Makes Cents T-Shirts, Paracord Bracelets and Pins Dress in style this fall with one of our colorful short-sleeve shirts, braided bracelets or pins. Hurry – quantities are limited, so grab yours at the Spring Township or Museum Road branches today! Short-sleeve shirts are $25, bracelets are $7 each and pins are $5.

We kicked off our annual Awareness Makes Cents on October 1st! Check out what we have planned to promote early detection and raise funds for those who have been impacted by breast cancer in our local community.

Piggy Bank/Pumpkin Voting and Silent Auction Our employees have created colorful hand-painted piggy banks and ceramic pumpkins that will be featured on our social media pages throughout the month. Vote for your favorite via our Facebook page. All banks and pumpkins will be available for purchase via silent auction on our Facebook page. Bidding begins Friday, October 29th, 2021.

New to this year’s auction is the Mystery Pig, which comes with additional mystery prizes tucked inside. What will the lucky bidder on this pig win? We can’t tell! You’ll just have to bid on it to find out. Proceeds from all sales will be donated to local breast cancer service organizations.

Thursday, October 7thThe Lackawanna mobile mammography unit will be onsite at our Keiser branch office in Spring Township offering free mammograms to individuals with or without insurance. Pre-registration is required. For additional information on the event, visit RiverfrontFCU.org/AMC.

Friday, October 15th Beansie's Mobile Espresso Café will be on site Tuesday, October 15th at Riverfront's Spring Township office, located at 2609 Keiser Boulevard in Wyomissing, from 9 -10:00 am. Drink ticket vouchers will be given out inside the branch for those making donations to the Awareness Makes Cents campaign.

Monday, October 18th Indulge your sweet tooth with a treat at our branch locations. Our Museum Road and Keiser Boulevard branches will have a limited supply of delicious and festive cupcakes in their lobbies. We invite you to take one and if you are so inclined, donate to the cause. All funds raised will be donated to Thanx Wig Bank, a local organization offering hair and make-up services to those undergoing treatment.

This quarter, proceeds from all sales of swag items go to support our community non-profit partner, which

Each purchase you make gives back to the community in the form of funds to one of the many local organizations doing greater good in Berks County.

John G. Bernheiser, past manager of Riverfront, was an unfaltering supporter of the credit union movement. His dedication and spirit enriched all of those his life
