THE BOBBY HULL COMMUNITY ICE RINK OPENED ITS DOORS ON DECEMBER 4TH, 2011. MORE THAN A DOZEN OF CURRENT BLACKHAWK PLAYERS WERE SCHEDULED TO ATTEND.

BOBBY HULL IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE GREATEST BLACKHAWKS AND NATIONAL PLAYERS OF ALL TIME.

THE ICE RINK WAS DONATED BY WIRTZ CORPORATION, WHICH BUILT A 70 MILLION 600,000 SQUARE FOOT LIQUOR DISTRIBUTION CENTER ACROSS THE CICERO COMMUNITY PARK. WIRTZ BEVERAGE HAS ALSO DONATED FUNDS TO THE LOCAL PARK DISTRICT AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICTS FOR SPORTS AND CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES.

WIRTZ BEVERAGE IS ONE OF THE LARGEST BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTORS, AND PART OF THE FAMILY RUN CORPORATION THAT OWNS THE BLACKHAWKS.
