Our global missions initiatives in Africa include water projects in Rwanda and school projects in Tanzania. If you’d like to learn more about Rwanda, we recommend two books available in our bookstores: Land of a Thousand Hills and Left to Tell. While you’re at our Journeys bookstore on the second story of Building B, try some Rwandan coffee (also called “Land of a Thousand Hills”) at the Global Grille.

Your contributions make a difference in South Florida and across the continents. In this Worship Guide, you’ll see many of the projects which happen because of those gifts. Our normal Sunday schedule includes classes at 9 a.m., our Worship Celebration at 10:30 a.m. and our Velocity High School Rally at 4:30 p.m. We meet during the week across South Florida in Neighborhood Groups. To connect with a Neighborhood Group, please access www.FBCNET.com/Neighborhoods.

Bibles, books, music, cards and more are available at Family Books & Music Center, in the Broward Atrium and our weekday location, called Journeys, near the Global Grille. On Sunday mornings, our Treasure Cove preschool center is open for children under 5. (Elementary children have their own worship experience called Club 252.) We also provide a sound-proof Family Lounge with a full view of the Sanctuary. Our weekday child care is called the Next Generation Learning Center. (Details available at www.NextGenCenter.com).

The Global Grille is open Sunday-Friday, 7:30 until 2 p.m. and until 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Building B second floor. The Grille features casual dining, free wi-fi, flat screens, and a comfortable place to relax or meet with friends or coworkers.

• Congratulations to technical director Jordan Pierce, who is celebrating his fifth anniverary on our staff team. Jordan engineers and orchestrates many of the visual worship components and infrastructure elements in our church. He and his wife, Tracy, were married in our church and have a son named Logan.
