Phase 1: Discovery & Review

๏ Stakeholder Interviews: Corynn will virtually meet with four (4) previously identified stakeholders from your team to learn more about their individual roles, responsibilities, and pain points. Interviews will be recorded, summarized, and shared with the larger group via presentation and used to inform the next phases of work.

๏ Document Review: Key documents and templates from each step of a typical project will be reviewed with reactions, comments, and suggestions shared via presentation in subsequent phases. The quote assumes six (6) pages of documents and/or templates but is adjustable based on need.

๏ Strategy Review: Corynn will review two (2) strategies, one you believed to be successful and one that didn’t go well as hoped. Strategy reviews should include notes and documents that informed the strategy, the strategy themselves, client communications, and campaign reporting documents.

Phase 2: Discovery 2.0

๏ Group Meeting: After completing phase 1, everyone will come back together for a 2-hour meeting to discuss phase 1 and dive into any remaining questions or topics we didn’t cover.

Goal: Have an open conversation to answer remaining questions and any new questions generated from phase 1. The team will also have a chance to bring up other topics we didn’t cover in phase 1.

Phase 3: Strategy Delivery

๏ Summary of Finding: Phase 3 will be a culmination of all previous work where insights will be translated into actionable steps you can take to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of their in-house digital team.

๏ Quick Wins: A list of quick wins will be provided. These are impactful changes that can be done in the next 30 to 60 days.

๏ Document and Process Suggestions: I will make specific suggestions on how to optimize documents and processes across the team.

๏ Marketing Strategy Suggestions: As requested, I will also provide specific suggestions for:

1. Ad strategies for undergrad versus grad programs 2. Funnel and conversion expectations 3. Projection & market research tools 4. Audience insight research tools and suggestions

Phase 4: Project Review

๏ Strategy Presentation: Corynn will present the deliverable from phase 3 to the group. There will be time for questions and feedback during and after the presentation to ensure the takeaways are relevant to your team.

๏ Follow-up Meetings: We will reconvene to discuss the strategy again after your team has time to digest the strategy, meet internally, and come up with additional questions and feedback.

๏ Strategy Adjustments: Based on your team’s feedback, Corynn adjust the strategy and deliver the final document.

ABOUT ME

Corynn Myers

Helping higher ed better serve their communities through marketing is what fills up my cup. I’ve been in marketing for over ten years and the higher ed space for more than five years, both agency side and university side with the University of Michigan. As of 2021, I am a full-time consultant, helping higher ed in all things marketing and communications.

Built a team During my time at the University of Michigan, I built an in-house digital marketing team and brought over $1.7 million back in-house.

We oversaw more than ten recruitment campaigns ranging from graduate, online, newly launched, undergraduate, and more. I worked with almost all of U-M’s 19 schools and colleges on their efforts and quickly became the go-to team for recruitment.

Millions in Ad Spend I’ve personally overseen millions of dollars in digital ad spend in my career across various verticals, including automotive, retail, higher education, and non-profit.

Multi-Channel Strategies I’ve overseen multi-channel communications strategies for efforts impacting tens of thousands of individuals, including topics ranging from low-income education access, COVID-19 testing, monitoring, vaccinations, and research impact on Michigan communities.
